Sims Social

I thought I'd write it in a blog post

If anybody reads this, here are my impressions on the Sims Social. Now bare in mind that this is a BETA version and not the full game so improvements are going to happen but at a later date.

Sims Social is a bit of a let down to me, in terms of being a sims game. I got Sims on PS1 the night of release, making me an 11 year player of the sims - so I do obviously know what I'm talking about. The game on Facebook is just meant to be a game that everyone can pick up and play, it's not meant for the hardcore sim fans and if you are like me then you might be a little bit let down. But lets pretend it's not a sims game and just change the title.

It's a good little ad on for facebook. It's more about getting a small gathering of friends together to play. However this does mean a lot of requests. It goes over the top. For example, just building a new room requires 3 other people (online players) to help you and it gets bigger the larger the room is. You can only select from a few default sizes. However the player doesn't have to enter your game. All they have to do is hit "Ok" on the message and they've helped apparently. Which just proves my point I'll make now. This game is EA's way of getting money and for the love of christ, do not get suckered in. If you can make free money but just downloading a Fanta app on Facebook like I did, great. Do it, and unistall it. This game just temps you to purchase more and more for it constantly, and by constantly. I mean 24/7.

One feature that demands that and also a lot of rage is the "energy" feature. This is a bar made up of 15 of which energy is stored in. Every activity you do removes energy. No, it's not your tiredness it's generally energy. When you run out then you must wait 5 mins to get 1 more to do 1 more activity and so forth until you reach 5 then it stops giving it out. SO IT'S OKAY EVERYONE IF YOU WANT TO SPEND £1 TO GET MORE MORE ENERGY. ALWAYS A GOOD OPTION. Seriously, this is relentless.

There's no jobs either, so it's very boring. Very fast.

Also the servers are a complete joke, but like I said - it's Beta so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

Overall: I will note it's a beta version but it's still a shambless. I say try it but don't spend any money on it. I'm guilty of spending £1 on it.

Thankyou!
