WWE: All Stars - My Impressions

So after playing the demo for about half an hour, I'm now ready to give my impressions on this upcoming game.

The control was the first thing I noticed. It's been completely changed and made muchsimpler- but it feels like a babies toy to me. I understand maybe THQ want to seperate it from the SvR series which is alright but it's a lil over the top here a think.

Also on the topic of THQ. Is it just me or is the new logo awful?

Now the gameplay itself is very awkward. It's not bad and it can be fun when you get use to it however I found it to be a little bit boring. It felt just like SvR with a "low gravity" cheat on or something much similer. Some elements are great to have fun with such as striking in midair. Reversal system just seems like a shambles from my experiance and everyone elses complaints. It's confusing, takes too long to get use to, has a mind of it's own, doesn't work half the time and....I don't like it. There appears to be 4 quick grapples and 4 stronger grapples - and strike combos I believe. The load times are a lil poor.

The demo only has two superstars to pick from....really? And one game mode? wow.

Speaking of game modes; the list seems very very short.

What do I think? Well. It seemed okay and it's fresh from the SvR series though it just feels a little; dare I say cheap? To me; this is nothing more than a watered down SvR with some "Low gravity" cheat on aha. It's fun when you get the hang out but if you're a wrestling fan - or even just a fan of some fighting games; It's worth a shot and some fun!

I hope you read this and please comment below!

Many thanks, take care.
