The PS5 has it's own processor for this, I think Xbox series has this as well, but maybe not as powerful. Their games are also available on PC, which could be a reason it's not used. PC's can do this...

Do we really need a pro version? It doesn't really sell that well compared to the regular one. But a slim version would be nice.A slim version of the PS5 and seriesX, and throw away the S version.Wha...

Yes. It was ahead of it's time. With more support it could easily have had more success. If it had full bc support for PS1 and PS2 games it would have sold like hot cakes. A bit more power and similar...

Dino Crisis, RE Code Veronica, Driver, The Getaway, Max Payne.

Looks like this game is a last gen game ported over to next gen consoles. It would never run at 60fps on the Pro if it was a true next gen title. It looks good though, just expected higher visuals on ...
-
@BlackShirt20: the series X had performance drops where the PS5 didn't. So having that lower resolution on the PS5 is the better choice.
-
It's a last gen game with higher resolution. It looked good before, looks better now. Yeah, the environments are a bit bad at times. But PD have done the right prioritizing with the cars and lighting....

PS1: Resident evil 2PS2/GC: I think the first game was Gran Turismo 3, but the most impressive was when I got GC later and tried RE remake, that was photo realistic, looked like a completely different...

@mrbojangles25: yeah, I think it's good developers do prioritize the intended hardware first, and then port it later. It's definitely better than the Cyberpunk way. I just don't believe all devs when ...
-
@hardwenzen: yeah. If the audio is clearer in standard stereo, it could be that they need the equipment to support the tempest 3D? Some extra processing of the analog signal at the equipment end. I do...
-
@texasgoldrush: If that was all this game was ment to be about they could just have gone back to 2d then. It's not hard to create a wanted system which would have controlled a player on killing spree....
-
It will improve, and get HDMI support later on probably, considering they want this to work on regular tv speakers as well. But this will take time, it's good that Sony have the extra hardware for the...

Basically "we don't like money" is what they are saying. I can understand the decision, but depending on when it's releasing it might hurt sales.

This game was somewhat hurt by it's marketing. A lot of people expected this to be a GTA type game, including me, with rpg features. But even if I expected this to be a fallout game with cars I would...
-
No. I expect them to fix most of the bugs, I have no doubt they can do that. But the core game won't be changed. The terrible NPC's A.I, the wanted system and the random spawning of cops behind your ...

It has some flaws. Just fry the microchip with an EMP. Or hack them. The first thing taken out in a big war is electricity, so having all the soldiers also dependent on that is stupid.
-
@xantufrog: it's difficult playing a open world game with cars when the physics are crap. GTA5 has a very high quality in everything, but even Far cry feels better than this. The driving physics are t...
-
@Pedro: I know, but to some he is. It would certainly create some noise. But to be able to punish all types of historical and made up characters that did terrible things would be a cool idea. But some...

A game where we can kill gods, including Muhammed would be nice.

@xantufrog said:@Martin_G_N: the fact that you are calling this lifeless and empty and comparing it to GTA tells me several things:1) you're playing it on the trash console version2) you are playing ...
