I love both fantasy and science fiction. But if I have to choose... I'd say fantasy. Thus, swords and magic.

The people who say this are usually old-schoolers who define an RPG as Baldur's Gate/Neverwinter Nights/Pokémon, and nothing must be different. Sure, there are some classic RPG elements that has been removed from Mass Effect 2, but this doesn't remove it's place in the RPG genre. Just ignore these people, they are overzealous.

There is nothing dangerous with custom sounds. They will go into a very obscure file somewhere in the game's files. They won't clog up your computer. Just play on the dedicated servers, it's the only way to play Team Fortress 2, and almost all FPS games today.

I'm not saying that everyone is stupid, thus it isn't a generalization at all. Look, the average human isn't very bright. Thing is, the more people you put in a group, the lower the group's intelligence becomes. Humanity in it's enterty isn't very intelligent at all, why do you think we are destroying the environment and thus basically digging our own grave? Because we are smart?

It's very popular because it's a simple game that doesn't require thinking. Sadly, many people in this idiotic species find that appealing.

I never play two singleplayer stories at the same time. I do, however, play multiplayer games at the same time. I will never give up TF2 or SC2.

Lol, my collection is at shame. I do have a bunch of PS2 and Wii games aswell, but I'm a PC gamer, so I consider that to be my collection. I don't buy games often, I buy one, play it for a couple of months, then buy a new one. Sometimes I buy an older game I'm interested in. That's why I don't have very many games. I also only buy retail.

There are downsides with all consoles:

PCs are more expensive and you often have to troubleshoot your games.

Xbox 360 is really loud and gets red rings of death.

Playstation 3 has bad backwards compatibility, and games are harder to develop for it.

Wii has a not so good library of good games, and has very subpar graphics.
