Huh?
Man. You guys need to look at Nintendo's holiday line-up. How can you not know about Clubhouse Games from Nintendo? It's online, the ultimate touch generation game for both hardcore/casual players. More than 20 card games including checkers, darts, dominos. Did I mention ONLINE + PictoChatting?!
Wow, you sound like an ad. :|
Gosh. Why can't they go back to the classic Megaman series? Stop all this X nonsense.
FlashMan2006
Yeah, there have been a lot of X games, but that's because X > classic. X has all the mechanics of the old series and then some.
[QUOTE="ZebethOrZebes"][QUOTE="PusherT"][QUOTE="ZebethOrZebes"]the cycle can continue as long as they want because after a certain point Nintendo will become a "Niche" brand, meaning Sony/MS can in thoery share 95% of the market making Nintendo a non factorableBeing third in marketshare does not equal a flop, necessarily. Especially if the overall market grows. I'm expecting the Wii to do poorly in North America and Europe, but it will still help Nintendo grow their business and turn a large profit. I predict you'll see an even more revolutionary console for generation #6 that won't do all that well that their competitors will incorporate into their systems.
The cycle will continue as long as Nintendo turns a profit, and they've managed to, even though they're in "third place" as you put it.

That's like saying that because FIFA sells more than Winning Eleven, Winning Eleven isn't worth talking about. It isn't worth talking about in context to the "Market Leaders" Nintendo is heading towards Niche much like that Nokia NGage is. Nokia NGage still have customer as people still buy games for it but it niche when compared to PSP/GBA/DS.
After a certain point if the trend continues then it will be moot to mention Nintendo in the same breath as Sony/MS
N-Gage has sold like 1.5 million. Nintendo's most recent and worst outing got them 20 million.
