Time for the first blog-post! It'll be about my main-event this summer, tantalus 4 final fantasy speedrun/marathon! So, this is summer. Yet again I stand with this horrible problem at my hands, what will I do with all this free time? Don't hate me, but at least once in your life you're bound to experience it! Anyhow, besides just hanging out, enjoying the sun and having a cold one, a friend of mine provided the answer. The two of us, and a number of others, have been wasting enormous amounts of time on the Final Fantasy series. So, the plan was to hold a final fantasy marathon where we'd play through all of the FF main games. That was the beginning of Tantalus 4.Today I'm happy to announce that this July, Tantalus 4 will perform a Final fantasy marathon. Here are the rules: Tantalus 4 marathon rules: Time limit: The goal is 10 days (240 hours) Consoles: PS3, Nintendo DS (for FF III) Style: Single-segment (saving allowed, but limited by time). Only one game at the time, and we count it completed once we have defeated the final boss. Tantalus 4 marathon information: Games: FF I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XII, XIII Members: MasterSundberg (VI, VIII, XII), KingVikmo (I, V, IX, X), Emanuel (II, IV, VII, X, XIII), Rickard (III, VIII, X, XII, XIII) Date: 18th July Recording: The games will be live-streamed from our website.
