Okay. So I'm stuck in this cave with a whole bunch of rocks. There are two flying enemies outside that throw bombs and there's an owl statue north of that where you can dig up a seashell that also has two flying Octorocks. How do I move the rocks so I can exit the cave through the other entrance?

There's a vine block close to where the switch is. Hit that and follow it up to a secret area. You need to let the Broozer destroy the blocks so you can get it. Also,smash the blocks above the vine block. If you dont,it wont go all the way up.
