Bidoof has Pick Up the greatest non-battle ability in the game and could be a total HM whore. But yea, the HM system has always been frustrating, although I'm glad they did away with rock smash and flash, dive and cut are still lame.

Good team, I have a few suggestions. Teach a few of your pokemon toxic, namely the Serperior with protect so you can take out tankier pokemon and add a pokemon with recover, wish, synthesis, moonlight or some other heal move along with toxic. The toxic - recover combo is quite brutal you basically put them in a Critical hit or die in X turns situation.

[QUOTE="Mastermynded"]Is it ironic that the creator died in the earthquake which is now spewing man-made toxins into the environment shortly after these version come out.LaytonsCat

None of Nintendo's staff or their families were harmed in the earthquake there buddy

I'm glad its only a rumor but it almost seems an appropriate earthquake rumor given the Japanese and International censorship of information surrounding this incident.

[QUOTE="Pixel-Perfect"]

[QUOTE="Andrn"]I just caught Cobalion. Not any Cobalion, but a 31/24/30/31/31/31 Cobalion, giving it Hidden Power Ice 68. Yes, I did RNG abuse, and I'm really excited to use it on the Battle Subway. In the Subway I was using Ferrothorn, Chandelure, and Haxorus which have all done pretty well. Ferrothorn is my lead and usually sets up with a Curse before Power Whipping or Gyro Balling. I got really lucky and caught it in Chargestone Cave, and it only has a max of 6 in its Speed IV. Chandelure comes in on anything that I suspect knows a Fire move, and goes from there. I've only ever had to use Haxorus once, and that was at the Subway Boss, where it totally owned.Andrn

I really need to learn that RNG stuff one of these days...

It's actually kind of easy. The only annoying thing for me was modifying the frame.

and to Mastermynded: There's the judge in Gear Station that you can talk to to easily find the highest IVs. He'll tell you your highest IVs, like for my Cobalion he would say the "HP is good/So is the Sp. Atk/and the Sp. Def/and the Spd/It can't be any better in that regard" or something along those lines, which lets you know really easily if your hatch is worth anything. Plus, he'll tell you the range of IV totals. You'll usually want to keep the "relatively superior" or "outstanding" hatches, and pitch anything else you don't like the looks of. As for your problem with the Dittos, they don't take on the catch rate of what they transform into anymore, which is why switching in Magikarp isn't as good anymore (bar forcing Splash onto the Ditto). My strategy (and Pixel probably knows some better way) is to just use Ditto for a single flawless stat, and then use parents of the same species from there.

I've got to say, overall I enjoy breeding in B/W over 4th gen.

Thanks for the advice, I just found The IV Guy in the Battle Subway -First guy, Blue Hair. Someone posted this big pic for breeding advice that was very helpful. It also has the phrase the IV Guy will say and what they mean as to its potential. http://i54.tinypic.com/2ilebva.jpg

Serperior is pretty good with a toxic - protect - giga drain -protect -giga drain -protect - probably dead by now strategy. Samurrot is alright but I think he needs less ATK or SPATK and more speed and SPDEF. Emboar is the least valuable in my opinion because there are several better fire pokemon found in the region: Chandelure, Volcarona, and The dragon if you have black. Volcarona is so awesome and is non-legendary for online battle. You can get one at lvl 70 or a larvesta egg on route 17 once you have surf. I bought both to trade all the starters to one, now I only use Serperior and a Tangrowth is soon to replace it.

That pic Adam posted was great help with breeding info. Much better than stuff on other websites. IV's are more important than natures and the difference between a 0 and 31 IV can be more than 10% in EACH stat.

Many of the new pokemon from Black and White are inanimate material objects, Vanilluxe, Chandelure, Yanma, Cofa, Klinklang. Then you have Reuniclus some embryo/science experiment. Considering the Japanese creators made this version to represent to Western World, how many of these pokemon are a back handed attempt to tell the world we are a materialistic culture that is pushing the boundaries of science and neglecting nature - i.e. Garbodor Is it ironic that the creator died in the earthquake which is now spewing man-made toxins into the environment shortly after these version come out.
