@tempura13: Let people express their feelings then call them out on it. Censorship never works because the silenced aren't allowed to hear their point of view. I don't want anyone to feeling bad but they need to know that everyone you meet is a potential friend or else what's the point. I like to surround myself around those who are smarter than me despite how stupid I may sound at times. I think part of the solution is being personal with people instead of ignoring them. Some people play violent games and are exercising a fantasy instead of causing actual physical harm. It's not that they would but playing any video game comes with a bit of roleplaying. Nobody want's to hurt anyone in a physical stance, it's just words.

My last boss was gay, I also had a co-worker who was gay and I recently got high with my lesbian friend. They don't game I believe but are awesome people. I think gay people who game have to deal with being, well 1. Gay and second being a gamer... It's tough to relate when you feel so alienated. I never minded gay people but I do have a problem with them being so sensitive when it comes to playing video games. I don't try to treat my gay friends any different, if you say something retarded I am going to tell you and I expect the same in return. I don't want to believe I have the "coolest" gay friends but I do believe there are cool gay gamers out there who aren't so fucking opinionated about shit all the time and enjoy this medium of entertainment.

Why are there so many sensitive online players? If anything it's essential to the health of a human-being, being able to overcome negativity. It's always going to be there anywhere you go.

I'd say the exact opposite when it comes to people who introvert themselves so much they aren't able to overcome differences and don't try to get along with one another (at least the person is acknowledging you). Talk to these individuals, find out why they are mad and don't provoke them. We're not all horrible people, ya know? Shit-talk is a part of the culture. You'll find it in nearly ALL facets of a competitive community whether it's in-game or real life.

Also, brag more would ya? People at the top get a lot of hate and in most cases those at the top will talk a lot of game as well. You are pretending you don't fit that profile yet are doing the same thing right now. Talking shit about them because you happen to be soooo good.

I'll break it down for you though if you want. It has to do with demographic, location and how they were raised and who they are friends with. We are all different. Perhaps having the luxury of screaming **** a million times with no repercussion could benefit you. It's not all bad, people who are mad are at least expressing emotion. You need to seriously get over yourself, the world isn't out to get you, dude. We need to quit ruining everyone's fun. Part of this is meeting some where in the middle. Stalking harassment is bad. Being over-offended is also bad.

I've said the absolute worst as well as the best when it comes to gamers online or people in real life. You grow from it, it's not something that can be prevented because it's all a part of figuring life out. My suggestion? Speak with them directly and manage your problems. DO NOT spread total bias garbage online so everyone has to pretend like it's a number one threat. I'm going to assume the post was genuine though and that you didn't know any of the things I'm talking about previously. You aren't dumb but I'm not either.

Damn so many genres it's hard to contribute! I'm a fan of all but it depends on the mood, ya know?

What's up with the last 6 minutes of the song haha? I'll give you a 5 out of 6 if it matters. A lot of big names on here, shit, I even went to a Dethklok concert once. Let's hear some not as well known stuff before Hotel California and Stairway to Heaven pop up.

Or perhaps a little context. This is a song by a very popular band in Japan called Mr. Children, it was released in 2003 I believe. You can find the English lyrics but the video and song itself is powerful enough. No matter what music or language you listen to it's a pretty good song.

(I don't know how to embed videos, I took 5 seconds to look it up and it didn't work. Pls halp)

Hahaha holy shit, you guys are cracking me up. I guess I could go without "hipsters" although I think the beef I have is the attitudes attributed towards these people and not about their fashion.

I was hella laughing at the word "swaggot" and I'm sure FreedomFreeLife is a man who never disappoints (against all odds he correctly used the word 'than', had me in tears) .

I'll wear Jordans over New Balance any day when I'm playing basketball on my yatch because those shoes are so damn expensive that I'm lying but hypothetically I would LOL. I'll also wear tighter fitting shirts or pants if I've lost some weight too, just don't pick up the douche-baggy attributes.

I'll have to check these out.

Here are some of my favorites.

Braid Soundtrack

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix

Silent Hill 2 Soundtrack

Anything Nobuo Uematsu as well as the soundtracks to Guitar Hero and Rock band, Kappa.

Going from Mario and the Chocobo theme to Silent Hill's opening theme was kind of nuts. "Yamaoka's sound commonly contains strong melancholy undertones and generally identifies with the dark ambient, industrial, trip-hop and rock genres" <----- like wtf does that even mean? lmao. It's seriously a genre of it's own and I suppose you have to be in the right mode for it but it's creepy as hell... And rules.

I don't think he's racist for saying those things, I think he's racist because he's from the "Deep South" hahaha ;)

In any case he just seems like he's a dick, which is fine if you're good friends (I mean after all you're his favorite Black Kid from the jungles of Africa). Words shouldn't mean shit to anybody if you want to become a stronger person. It's what he is saying and how he is using those words that is important. If you feel like he is clowning on you all the time in class, I would let him know.

I'd wait until after class, say you want to tell him something in private and just straight up say "Could you stop making fun of me for being black, I'm starting to feel embarrassed". If you act personal with him then I'm sure he'll feel for you and adjust his behavior. If you make it like you're enemies, "You need to stop this, I'm going to get the school and my parents involved" then you both lose.

If it doesn't go away you need to go to someone you trust, like another teacher that you are closest with and ask what to do (someone who isn't going to be too bias). It's about talking to the right people. Being on Nancy Grace shouldn't be the goal, learning in a comfortable environment should be. Perhaps change teachers? Every person wants to change the world themselves, it's just not going to happen, deal with that dickhead and just move on brother. Oops, I mean Siblin' O' mine, damnit, uhh is "dude" okay? Lmao, just a joke.

I'd never clown you in front of a bunch of people that aren't our close friends and certainly not if I knew you weren't having any fun with it. I'm not a teacher though, I'm just an asshole with a bunch of lax friends of nearly all races (white, black, asian, middle eastern and mexican). HAHAHA sorry I couldn't resist, they are just jokes and humor is nearly essential to overcoming racial sensitivity. It could be location though, people here in the NW are pretty easy going. I would hate to live in a place that made me feel so alienated.

Breaking down barriers with others is a great way to make close friends. If you were one on one with me, I'd like you to say anything you want without worrying about anything. The teacher making those comments in a class full of white people?... SOUNDS A BIT SKETCH, lol, even coming from an asshole like me. <3

I don't believe you can play this game anymore but if someone could give me the name, it would be better than finding the killer of my ex-wife. ;)

Ok so, Mid 90's, PC, it was a Kidsoft game. It was like a puzzle game in the amazon rainforest, very tiki-themed. Frogger kind of puzzle game, cross rivers, look out for booby traps and make it to the goal.

C'mon! Please, I cannot rest until I find the name of a game I once enjoyed as a child. Everything else can wait.
