Tom mcshea = Gordon Ramseyhippiesanta
Except Tom McShea is a nobody without a clue, who sucks at what he does, and Gordon Ramsay has 12 michelin stars and is the most knowledgeable/profitable chef on the planet.

Bioshock is the only game from this gen in my top 3. There are multiple in my top 10, including recents Skyrim and Skyward Sword.
This game might be a big improvement over the past games, but there's no way it should get a 9/10. Rey Mysterio can still lift the Big Show and throw him around as though he weighs 100 pounds. But whatever I guess, WWE is just entertainment, not wrestling.
Gamespot reviews GTA V that is mostly the same game as GTA IV with a few tweaks: 10/10 BEST GAME EVER!!!!
Gamespot reviews Skyward Sword that is certainly a different game than the past Zelda's: 7.5 same game as always
This site sucks.
Can't believe Skyward Sword has a lower Metacritic at the moment than Skyrim. It seems like the typical "we can't give another Zelda game a 10 because Ocarina of Time is the standard of all Zelda games" b.s. is still running rampant through the critics reviews. It's still pretty amazing that it is sitting at a 95% with all those 8/10s though. My guess is it's a pretty big lock for a 9.0 from Gamespot.
[QUOTE="cryceaye5"]So please tell me why?! Why is Skyrim a point sixth below oblivion when your review seems to give it alot more praise than that compared to oblivions.Dracula68They can only give a 9 or a 10 now and I am guessing Kevin felt it didn't deserve a 10.
What? GoW 3, Dark Souls, and Portal 2 all got 9.5s. They still give out the 9.5 rating. It's just a huge shame that gamespot is essentially saying Oblivion was a better game in 06 than Skyrim is in 2011. Which I think we will all see after midnight tonight, is just not true.
I also agree with the poster who talks about how GTA gets a massively high score and isn't put under the same microscope games like Zelda and Elder Scrolls are on this site. I'm willing to bet they give GTA V a 10.0 even though it's mostly the same game as GTA IV with some minor tweaks, and they give Skyward Sword a 9.5 because of some tiny tiny nit pick.
It's been an amazing year, however it has had a plethora of dissapointments. Games like Rage and Duke Nukem were expected to be much better than they were. I can't recall a single year in the 2000s that has had so many games that could be considered some of the all-time great games. Arkham City, Dark Souls, Portal 2, and probably Skyrim and Skyward Sword. That being said, I think 98 was a better year in gaming.
