Hey Gamespotters,

I was thinking about the most revolutionary games in each genre of all time, ok im gonna get something straight before i begin, im not talking about pong or frogger, no im talking about the first major game of the certain genre, for example, im not going to say, for FPS's, Pong, even though it was the FIRST game, ill say something like HALO-Combat Evolved (Xbox), Call of Duty (PSone) or Doom (PC)

OK LETS BEGIN... (Ill start of with some and you can add more genre's or games if you wish.)

RTS - Command and Conquer Red Alert (PSone)

Sidescrolling Arcades - Super Mario 3 (NES)

TBS - Advance Wars (Gameboy Advance)

Stealth - Metal Gear Solid (PSone) or Splinter Cell (PS2)

FPS - Halo Combat Evolved (Xbox)

Adventure - Zelda: Orcarina or Time (Nintendo 64)

Simulation - The Sims (PC)

RPG - Elder Scrolls: Morrowind (PC) or Final Fantasy (PSone)

Driving - Gran Turismo (PSone)

Freeform/Sandbox - GTA 3 (Xbox)

Construction Simulation - Rollercoaster Tycoon (PC)

Thats all I can think up right now, so if u have more genres or games then plz leave a comment!

Hey Gamespotters,

I was Wondering what all you gamers think is the most annoying gaming character. Characters that hang around, Try to Help and fail epicly, or just wont shut up. Who is the character that makes you cringe and mash buttons to borderline breaking everytime they come onto the screen and try to help or hinder your journeys as an awesome warrior. Who is that character?

I havent posted for a while and i have been reading other posts on other websites, and a big discussion is 'WHO IS THE BIGGEST BADASS IN GAMING?'. Everyone so far has said Kratos from GOW, yeah he is a super badass but really, a few big swords, some magic powers and a few god killing abilities, wow that is badass. But i think there are a few other badasses out there, Agent 47 from the hitman games; he is cool, calm and collected, he is packed with weapons and gadgets that will help him along the way, and he is a master of disquise. Theres Duke Nukem, he smokes a cigar, packs a huge killing-machine gun and mouths off at everyone, all while killing thousand of mutants, demons and monsters from all dimensions, oh and did i mention that he has tons of chicks on the side. Theres Sam Fisher, filled to the brim with cutting edge gadgets, he takes out his objectives without even being seen, even with 3 glowing green LED's on his head. Add Anymore Badasses that i missed and dont be shy to argue one of the badasses in my list.

First when i thought of gory games I thought of GTA but then i reconsidered. Yes GTA games are totally awesome and very succesful franchise with lots of shooting, car jacking and wrecking alot of things, it didn't quite make the cut on BEST GORY GAMES. So i sat and though about fantastic game that ive played with chockers of blood, guts, decapitaions and overall torture and i thought of Scarface which i played on Xbox. The shooting is great, the scenes and scenario's are great and the blood and gore is wonderful. The way it lets you weild a chainsaw and individually cut the victims limbs of in any order is really cool. The down fall to me is you can kill innocent bystanders, it only lets you kill gang memebers and drug dealers and the occaision policeman. great gory game, 7/10.

Another great gory game that i just stopped playing is the Punisher, if you have seen the movie you will have a basic idea of the story and the character 'Frank Castle' aka The Punisher who aquired the name after his entire family was wiped out in a mob hit by a mob leader called Howard Saint. The game is mainly about that but is alot more farfetched then the movie. For instance, in one level you must go to Stark Towers, the building owned by the multi billionaire playboy/superhero Tony Stark aka Iron Man. The game if filled with darkness as Frank Castle shoots his way through a crack house, a russian freighter and multiple other venues around new york city. And if you're wondering as i was when i purchased this game quite cheap at EB Games, Does it have the hulking russian man that is sent to Castles apartment to disenbowel him but then gets killed, yes it does although the sequence is slightly different. Fans of Marvel Universe rejoice, great game with tons of speacial cameos of pther superheroes and supervillains only understood by a fan of marvel, fantastic 3rd person shooter i give it 8/10.

My last entry is of a game that is considered as the most gory game ever, Manhunt or Manhunt 2. These are extreme games not for the feint hearted. the story begins as a man on deathrow 'James Earl Cash' escapes his fate. then he finds himself working (against his will) for a man who calls himslef the directer in a snuff film where cash has to kill gang members hellbent on killing him, to do so cash uses a range of weapons and exucutions with everyday items as plastic bags and baseball bats with also a range of firearms and othe dangerous weapons to fight his way to freedom and finding out who the director truly is. Great gory game with alot of use will stealth but also shootouts. Awesome gore game and it takes home the medal for the Best Gore Game 10/10.
