@CharlesBurns: Yeah, but for Fallout 3 it wasn't like that, when you've done the last story mission the game ended without the chance to continue playing like in the other Bethesda games, in Fallout 3 you could continue playing only of you had a specific DLC enabled (Broken Steel, you can google it but pay attention that the description has spoilers about the main game ending), this was the same also for Fallout New Vegas (this one was developed by Obsidian by the way, not Bethesda).
