Last game I ever remember seeing completely sold out was Ocarina of Time. I couldn't find that anywhere and luckily found some stray copies at Funcoland. Vice City was kind of hard to find too, but nowhere near as bad as Ocarina of Time.

[QUOTE="evilishies"]Yeah.. I'm considering selling my Gamecube and buying a Wii. The problem is I would keep my controller for Classic games and I doubt a Gamecube without a controller would sell very high. I don't doubt the Wii version is the more authentic. It looks like the developers finished the game as a Wii game, not a Gamecube one. That being said, I don't know if I'll shell out 250 dollars for the WIi version or keep my money and play the more tame version.

I'd say the Gamecube is the more authentic version since it features a more traditional Link. He'll be left-handed in the Gamecube version as he always has been and was originally intended to be. The Wii version is basically the Gamecube version completely reversed so that it appears Link is right handed since most people are right-handed and they'll be using the Wii-mote to attack.

Who would do the voice acting for the animal creatures in the game? .... Okay, I know there are ways of handling that. But it's still a valid question.

Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog.  And that right there is why there shouldn't be voice acting.

It should get a higher score for the Gamecube version if you judge the game on the technical abilities of the Gamecube. Anyways, this score reminds me of when Shenmue came out. It originally got a 6.something and then someone stepped in and said it wasn't reviewed fairly and the score was changed to a 7.something. Personally, I liked Shenmue and I'm sure I'll like this game. The main problem Gamespot seemed to have was that they didn't like the control and felt it was tacked on. I've heard other sites like IGN say completely different that the Wii controller feels completely natural and that it's definitely the best way to play the game. Both Gamespot and IGN complained about the music, easiness, and graphics. While I think it's fair to judge a game on these things, I think Twilight Princess is a different story since it's a launch title, it was originally a Gamecube game, and the Wii in general is expected to not have the graphical capabilities of other next-gen systems. In fact, I'm not sure anyone even knows what its capabilities really are, although I'm sure it's fair to say that the Wii discs can hold a lot more data, but since it's a dual Gamecube/Wii release, it kind of almost has to stay in line with the Gamecube version or else they'd have to completely remake the game for scratch on the Wii, and then it wouldn't be a launch title.  However, I think Nintendo should be given credit for making Twilight Princess for the Wii and essentially recreating the whole control scheme to fit the controller, and I think the review is overly harsh. But that's Gamespot's opinion, and I respect Jeff's opinion and he gave an honest review of his opinion and that's all a reviewer can do.  And an 8.8 is not too shabby.  And it never really matters to me what they say unless I'm on the fence about a game and need some justification to spend money on it. I bought Shenmue when they gave that a lackluster score and I completely enjoyed it. I bought Halo 2 and thought it was failed to live up to the hype. I'm sure most of the people here were hoping for another perfect 10, but I knew that wasn't going to happen.  I was on the fence about whether or not to get a whole new system just for Zelda but reviews on other sites are giving almost unanimous "excellent" scores, so I'm using the average review score.  I'll still make this my #1 place for reviews, because overall I think their reviews are highly reliable.

I'm not a fanboy of any system, and each system has its advantages and disadvantages and each one has its must-have games. But with all of that, the last time I was excited about a game was when I played Ocarina. And the last time I felt like wow that was amazing game I have to play that again was with Ocarina. So I'm seriously considering passing on a 360 and PS3 and breaking my rule to never buy a console at launch and waiting for price drops so I can go out and buy a Wii and Twilight Princess. I'm torn between the Gamecube and Wii versions. On the one hand, the Wii version is probably better, but on the other hand the Gamecube version is probably the more authentic version. I have a feeling I'm just going to get a Wii. It would've been great if Nintendo bundled the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess with other Zelda classics or at the very least with the Ocarina of Time/Master Sword Gamecube port.
