The cutscene looks exactly the same as gameplay in Uncharted. You haven't even played the game. :|It's a real-time cutscene but going by your logic, Halo 3's, Gears of War's, and Mass Effect's cutscenes (or when talking) are all CGI. :roll:

While that screen from uncharted obviously hare renderd in realtime (not cgi) i wouldn use that pic as a statement on ownage of Gears. There are no real high res textures on it, and the charaters look kinda low in detail compared to the guy in the gears pic. Judging on thouse two pics i would say Gears have the better GFX :S. The characters in Mass effect looks way better also, especialy wrex. However i have seen other screenshots from Uncharted and it is undeniable a great looking game. but i would hesitate to announce it the best looking console game.

On the subject of Gears looking better on PC. well thats a given, a high end PC is way more powerfull than any Console. And you will need a pretty expensive PC to get the GFX in Gears up over the standard in the 360 version. Ive spend the same on my graphics card as i did on my 360. so i would expect Gears to be better looking on PC. You do however pay a price in $ for that power.

While i certainly understand the grief here over the loss of Jeff. I really doubt that this will impact the sales of Kane & Lynch. Maybe a few ppl from this sites board community will not buy it. but in the greater whole it wont matter any bit. If it had been some reviewer from IGN. you wouldn feel so strongly. Also it is just speculation maybe there is something deeper behind his termination. I cant see why he should have been fired because of a review.

Even though i think his review of Kane & Lynch was crap (6.0 comon) it would completely take GS integrity away if he was fired due to that review. That would be bad buisness for Cnet.

Also its incredible silly and childish to blame a game (its only software you know) for the firing of an editor on a random internet gaming site.

Imo CoD 4 simply has a too short SP to be goty. While it was fantastic and all it was just to short. SP was about same lenght as Half life: episode 2 and that game wasent even sold as a full standalone game. Still CoD 4 was very good just not Goty. Me though hmm i like it very much and will proberly be my personal goty, i doubt that gs will do the same. They will must likely choose SMG.

Well the sound must be out of sync on the psp version then? Must movies and televsion shows run at 25 Frames per second or something i think.

As for gaming, FPS will affect how smooth the game feels. 30+ frames are good and playable. however if the game runs at 60 fps it will feel alot more smooth and natural.

I completely agree with the OP, thats why i both have am Xbox 360 and a powerfull pc. Then i can play COD 4 (and did) in 1440x900(19" lcd native res)total maxed gfx(or 900p) and i can still play the good 360 games like Mass effect and forza 2. However thats not true.... well it is but infinity ward didnt support 1440x900 properly, while i can choose it i loose the left side of the screen, even though i have set aspect ratio to 16:10. so i was forced to play in 1280x960 or something, still looked gorgeous though.

The pc rigs come at a price though, they arent cheap, my graphics card kosted me the same as my 360 premium with forza 2. But if you got a job it isent a problem.

Thumps up for sure, 19 houres and its very addicting. deffinatly taking a second run through. Many of the side quests are very good and have interresting story lines. While i dont know how much of the main story is left, i would think i can finish it in 4 houres. I havent takeing that many side quests though, well i have but still i have plenty left to be completed, and then the main storyline ofcourse.

Crytek works for EA an niether owns the Far cry IP. Ubisoft Crytek's old publisher own that IP. THe new Far cry game is being made by an ubisoft inhouse studio. Not crytek.
