I feel like this has to be said, games can take you somewhere else, they can take you out of your element into an unknown land and far into the realms you thought didn't exist. Of course you probably already know all this but there are those who don't. To some, games are just a way to pass the time and relax and have fun, for others, it is to escape the world they live in and step into the shoes of an alternate personae that that person may of made or chose to play. Gaming can take you out of this chaotic and hectic world and put you into an even more chaotic and hellish world or can take you to a peaceful world, it all depends on what you play. Most, do not understand the importance of gaming to certain peoples lives. They think games are just for the people who cant make friends and socialize, while sometimes true, other times gamers are just looking for that perfect world to lose themselves in, they are looking for a place to become not James from accounting or Bill from corporate, but to become a whole new person. Now maybe i am the only one who feels this way about game, maybe i am the only one who likes to disconnect from this **** filled world we live in and journey to the far away lands of dreams and the unknown, but i dont think i am the only one. For those who do not think of games this way, then it just is not your passion or you do not like them, and there is nothing wrong with that. I believe there is a game out there for everyone, a game where even the most uptight person can completely unwind and relax, that game is out there, can you find it? Or will you have to make it yourself?
