Finally got around to buying Fallout 3! Got the game of the year edition for $25 at JB Hifi, which I was happy with. So far the game is amazing, there is so much to do and I like the way you have total freedom to do what you want.
Also rented Battlefield: Bad Company 2 over the weekend since a few guys at school were telling me how much better it is than COD. I set it to easy and powered through the campaign in one night so I didn't have to pay an extra two bucks for another night. It was really fun and the destroyable environments was cool, but I didn't enjoy it as much as COD. I don't like to compare them though and I'm pretty sick of everyone insisting that one needs to be better than the other, they're both good. That's it.
Recently I bought Mass Effect and Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY, both very good games. When I started playing Mass Effect I couldn't stop, it's easily one of the best RPGs I've ever played. When I finished it I wanted to do it all over again. Batman was also pretty good, the 3d was kind of cool at times but I'm getting a little bit bored with the game.
So thats just a quick review of the games I have been playing recently, overall a really good bunch of games and I'm looking forward to others being released soon. Mostly excited about COD: Black Ops, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Gears of War 3, Red Faction: Armageddon and Fable 3.
