That's how all battle system are, they're used through the whole of their respective games. Anyways, I don't the game is overated. I think it is an amazing game and look forward to a sequel.Battle system got really repetitive, but the story was really good - only reason why I finished the game.
I wouldn't call it overrated. The only thing you really can't like about this game is the battle system (which isn't bad, it's just that you fight battles all the same way)

I think so, seeing as they're doing (essentially) that very thing for the Wii with "Metroid: Other M". I'm pretty sure a handheld version isn't far behind.
Also, I would ike a remake for Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Ages (more so the former, since that the only one of the two that I've played).
To my knowledge:
1. Metroid Prime Hunters (only to friends)
2. All DS versions of pokemon (minus mystery dungeon and ranger. As far as I know) Only to friends though.
3. Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (only to friends)
4. Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (only to friends)
5. Call of Duty (only to friends)
6. Phantasy Star Zero (only to friends)
Basically, in any game that enables voice-chat, you can only do so with friends on your friends roster.
I know there are many more, but I don't them.
Metroid Prime Hunters

Only when talking to friends (I felt that that distinction was important to note).

Are you serious? It lists all teh features on the DS box when you buy 9assuming you didn't buy it used like I did). The manuals of whatever game you own that supports nintendo wifi also tell you (assuming you didn't buy those used as well but even then, you can download an online copy of the those manuals on nintendo's website).
From what you said, it sounds like it would be an excellent idea. however, I'm still on teh fence baout it. You see, I'm poor and don't have a job (nor the time to get one); buying a USED DS Lite was hard enough (And it was only $117! with tax). The DSi being bumped up to $200 would make it out of my league (financially). If they pack it with some killer feature, like the ability to download virtual console games onto it (that can work with the controls on the DSi) or the elimination of friendcodes altogether, I'd be all over that (as soon as I conjure up enough money)!
You can transfer all your data (friendcodes, DS ID,etc.) to your new DS (or DSi) by going to wifi settings (in any wifi-compatible game) >options> transfer Nintendo WFC configuration. Afterwards, go the main menu of the your new handheld (not the game in the handheld, but the handheld itself) and then DS download play, where your new DS will look for the data the DS is broadcasting. When it picks it up, it'll download it and it'll be erased the old handheld. This only applies if you use Nintendo wifi. If you're a single-player kind of guy/gal, then you can skip this step and just get rid of the old handheld.
That being said, I really see no reason for you to upgrade. I'm assuming your current hanheld works fine, so I suggest you hold on to it and only upgrade if it breaks to the point where its no longer usuable, in which case, dump it in favor of the DS Lite (which is cheaper than the DSi and will leave you with some money left over for a game or two).
I would Say Heartgold and Soulsilver. The reason being the pokemon games usually incorporate elements from previous games and (I'm assuming that) HG and SS have taken elements from platinum, which is my second choice. That being said, I recommend HG and SS, the remake of(arguably) the best generation of pokemons for the sheer amount of updates in introduced to the first generation (Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green).
Keep in mind that HG and SS are only out in Japan for the time being, so unless you feel like waiting for them come out in whatever you live in (assuming it isn't Japan), you're better off getting Platinum. Besides, if there ARE some updates that HG and SS introduce, it (most likely) won't be groundbreaking (to the naked eye anyway).
I second your notion. What do you guys think is the best sonic gam on the DS is? I think it´s sonic rush Advanture! But i´m expecting alot from the new project they are working on if it´s as great as they say we can expect a awesome sonic game!
