WOW! Its been so long everybody!

What I've been up to lately.....
I haven't been doing too much lately, I've just been playing my games as usual and trying to get all of the Pokemon for Diamond that I can. School let out a few weeks ago, so I've just been playing games more often than I used to, but not much exciting is going on.

Pokemon Diamond
I've managed to catch 250 Pokemon so far and see 301 Pokemon total. I also went to Toys R Us this past weekend and obtain a Darkrai from the event. I'm also trying to breed some better Pokemon, like a Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard that knows Belly Drum, Earthquake, Fire Punch/Flamethrower, and Substitute/Double-Edge. I've managed to come up with a fairly good Gastly from Breeding together a Haunter and Gengar, and then breeding a Misdreavus with the Gastly produced last to get a Gastly with Destiny Bond, Lick, Hypnosis, and Shadow Ball with a Brave nature.

Wing Commander IV
I recently managed to get a copy of Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom for the PS1 about a week ago. I've been bargain hunting for months now, so finding one that actually worked for $10 is VERY nice, especially when compared to the $30 plus at most other used game stores.

Test your might!
I managed to get a copy of MK: Deadly Alliance and MK: Armageddon for the Xbox about a month ago (I'm still as far behind the rest of the gaming community as ever), and I've been spilling blood since. Even though some people don't like these games because they might depart too much from the series, I like them quite a bit.

Racing Games
I also managed to get R: Racing Evolution and Project Gotham Racing for the Xbox around the same time I got both MK games. I'm enjoying R: Racing a lot right now, and I'm getting started on Project Gotham Racing currently. I have a question for anyone who knows anything about it, but why is it so hard to turn in PGR? I couldn't figure it out, I mean, they said that it was hard to turn in R: RE (but it really isn't), but I never expected it from PGR.

Everlasting Gundam AMV Extended Version
I've managed to get pretty far in this version of the AMV, I have all of the needed video clips put in, and now I'm editing the total length be around ten minutes. I should be uploading it sometime this month if everything goes as planned, so keep an eye out for it. All of the Gundam series that will be in it are: 0079 original, 0080, 0083, 8th MS Team, Zeta, ZZ, Char's Counterattack, F91, Victory, X, Wing, Endless Waltz, Seed, SDestiny, Astray MSV, and Turn A.

New profile and anime/game character test section
As the title describes, I have added a new section on anime/game character tests I've taken online, as well as a profile on yours truly. It really isn't much, but I thought it might be nice to have some more details on me that you might not know. It is in the My stats section.

I'll be seeing everybody around, and I'll make sure I visit all of your blogs as soon as I can too! Bye!

It's been forever since I last blogged....

Hey guys. Man, it's been a long while since I last blogged, or anything at that. School has been keeping me busy quite a bit, with tests and the like. I've still been gaming though; I also got a few new games every so often. Well, I guess I better get to telling you about it....

Games

The games I got were Mechassault Xbox, LOTR: The Two Towers Xbox, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Xbox, Gun Metal Xbox, X-Men Legends PS2, and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X. I've gotten the furthest into Knights of the Old Republic, which is a little strange considering I got it, Gun Metal, and Mechassault all in the same day. I'm into the third mission on Mechassault and Gun Metal, I love Mechassault so far, and I love just blowing up buildings for no reason. Gun Metal is pretty good, I'm trying to get used to how it maneuvers in its different transformed states, and I've practically mastered the jet form, while the slightly less maneuverable mech form is still taking some effort.

X-Men are just fantastic so far, I haven't played through it too much though.... Resident Evil Code: Veronica X is great as well, I'm struggling to get used to controlling the character like a tank, but I'm managing nonetheless. So far I've gotten up to the large Mansion area, or whatever you want to call it.

School

Ugh, I hate school with every ounce in my body, especially lately. I have the basic schedule most high school students probably have, go to class in the morning, go to the next class on the other side of the building, go BACK to the other side, up the flight of stairs, and so forth. Lately however, we've had a bunch of tests, state assessments really. I took the ACT pretest since I'm a junior and I passed the assessment last year, so it wasn't TOO bad. Even though you have to admit that by keeping on the move in-between classes is good for keeping physically fit, but I swear at the end of the week I could fit right into a Resident Evil movie/game.

AMVs

Well... I've got some updated amvs I've been working on, so here they are.

Everlasting Gundam AMV

This AMV project is finally into its second half, with the Normal version out and the Extended version in its planning phases still, at the very least I am making progress. So with that said, enjoy the vid!

[video=IyY0kjas5bwEvjbb]

Medal of Honor/Call of Duty AMV

I noticed a few flaws in the previous version that I released, and I decided I'd re-release a fixed version. There are still a few small things, but I thought I should at the very least post what I've gotten so far.

[video=K3I0xTqq5bwEvjDZ]

This is practically everything I can thing of right now, so I'll most likely be blogging again later this week when I think of something else.

My birthday

Sorry I'm about a week late on posting this, but I was kinda busy on the night of the party playing Halo and school took up the majority of the time I had during the week from then on.

Gift cards and Money!

As the title says, I got the best thing I could have gotten for my birth day, gift cards and money. I used that money and such to go buy Halo 2, along with an original Xbox so I don't have to ask my sister to play on hers, and I no longer have to inconvenience her. I've gotten to "Uprising" so far in Halo 2 on Normal, I've enjoyed playing up to now, even though the stories cliff hanger isn't good, the game play itself isn't lacking at all.

Mad Gamer Network

Has anyone heard of this site? I didn't until recently. I've got an account on their now, same name as usual:). If anyone is interested in the site, the link is above.

Well... I guess that's all I've got right now. I'll be seeing you around possibly, I may decide to get off here soon and play FFXII for a bit. Bye.

How my Christmas was

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't been around for awhile, I've been busy over the last few weeks. Did you all have a good Christmas like I hoped you would? Did you get all you wanted?

What I got for Christmas
Well, why don't I start off with the PS2 games since that's the main type I got?
I got Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction, Twisted Metal Black, Gungriffon Blaze, Star Trek Conquest, Marvel Ultimate Alliance Special Edition, Dirge of Cerberus Final Fantasy VII, and Final Fantasy XII. I bought FFXII, Star Trek and Ultimate Alliance with a gift card I got for Christmas, as well as others. I DS games I got were Pokemon Diamond and Contra 4, and I got Contra 4 with a gift card. The last bunch of games I got was for the PC, I got Age of Mythology and C & C the First Decade. I also got a nice pair of headphones.

I honestly wasn't expecting to get Pokemon Diamond, and I wasn't for sure if they had gotten Dirge of Cerberus for me or not. I guess that DVD case I saw awhile back WAS Dirge of Cerberus. Also, I got some neat Movies; though that's a little off topic. I got the 20th Anniversary Collector's Edition of Tron, The Complete Back to the Future Trilogy, the Transformers movie; Michael Bay, and the new TMNT movie. I never expected to get Tron, my mom said that she probably wouldn't be able to find it, and I was skeptical as well. I've wanted the Back to the Future Trilogy on DVD for awhile now, so I could replace the VHS version.

Oh, a week or so prior to Christmas, I bought two games, Heavy Gear II for the PC and Spider-man 2 for the PS2. I never had the time to get online and tell you guys about it, so I'm telling you now.

More things to come...
Take a guess at what's coming up next month, oh so close to Christmas? My birthday, I'm not sure who does and doesn't know, but my birthday is in January. I have a whole other list of things that I want for my birthday too, but not as much stuff, and not quite as expensive either. I DID have Pokemon Diamond on my Birthday list, but that's taken care of now since they decided to give it to me for Christmas instead.

I'm gonna have my hands full with these games and movies for awhile, and I'm DEFINITELY going to have a great time playing them all. I'll probably be on the net for awhile, so I'll be around the various sites I have accounts on. See ya.

PSP Funds are out, Guitar Hero is in

Turkey Day!
Well here in the U.S., Thanksgiving has just passed; duh, why am I even saying this???? I always enjoy Thanksgiving, I get a few days off school, and I get to play my games more often than normal, and have overall good time. This past Thanksgiving has been exactly that, and more. On Black Friday, I went and bought both Guitar Hero I & II for the PS2, as well as a Guitar Mania guitar. I spent most of the afternoon working my way through Easy in career mode, and I've just started on Medium mode this morining.

Current Funds (for PSP)
Well... since I bought Guitar Hero, my funds are WAY down, but it was well worth it. I'll be able to buy a PSP eventually though, and the prices may go down even more. I won't be needing a PSP for awhile now that I have Guitar Hero though.

Well, since its about 4 weeks untill Christmas, I thought I would show you my Christmas list.

Here it is:
Twisted Metal: Black PS2
Command & Conquer The Last Decade PC
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII PS2
Mercenaries PS2
Okami PS2
Advance Wars GBA
Advance Wars: Black Hole Rising GBA
Advance Wars: Dual Strike DS

I can't wait for Christmas though! I'm bound to get something I like with these games on my wish list!
Also, something tells me I'm bound to get some sort of a surprise for Christmas, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up too far. I'm pretty sure I saw my mom hiding a PS2 video game when she got home from shopping on Wedesday, and she also told me she couldn't find Advance Wars anywhere, I didn't know it was SO popular that you couldn't find a used copy of it....

I hope that everybody will have just as good a Christmas as it would seem I will, everybody deserves good a Christmas as it would seem I will, everybody deserves to have a good Christmas; or whatever holiday falls into your religion.

The past few weeks, a few new games, and an AMV I really like

Hi guys, sorry I haven't blogged in awhile, I've been SO busy with school, and partially with my video games. But onto the gaming aspect now....

New Games

Yeah..., I know, I get new games pretty often. What can I say, I like video games?

I bought Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven for the PS2 for about $10 about a week ago, just before I bought my "other" game. I got through Stage 1, on the 1st layout, with a rank of Grand Master. I REALLY like Tenchu so far, I have a demo for the other one; Fatal Shadows, and so I'm already pretty good at it. The 2nd half of Stage 2 is what I have a problem with, too many enemy ninjas for my taste, but I'll be prepared next time I face them though.

The other game I bought around the same time was Doom for the PS1, it was the cheapest and best version I could find. It came out to about $10 as well; more because I ordered it online and had to pay shipping, which my grandparents covered for me. I'm around the 10th mission in Doom 1, and the 3rd on Doom 2. There aren't many games out there that I've taken to quite so well; mainly stuff like FF, Burnout, and Ratchet & Clank is what I tend to do well in from the get-go. To put more perspective to it, I've just gotten the BFG9000 in the last level I played.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0sm-iRoWh0

Here is a video review on that I found Youtube when I was researching which port version was best. This review helped me decide ultimately that I wanted the PS1 version, since the PC version; the re-released version, was so much more expensive than it was. If I remember correctly, it was $20+ without shipping, and I had around $10 for both the game and shipping.

Gaming

Halo 1
I finished it on normal mode a few days after my last blog, and I've started on Heroic Mode. I don't see much of a difference between the two difficulties, but I've only just started it, so I've yet to face anything REALLY hard.

Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls
In FFII I've reached the Cyclone Dungeon, and I'm working on leveling up my Ultima spell on Firion; he has the most MP out of the group. As for the Cyclone Dungeon itself, I've only just been training on the 1st floor a bit, just so I'm prepared for the eventual boss fight at the end.

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

I'm almost done with this game, I just have to finish up one whole level and then on to the Final Boss, Dessan. I've spawned him before in previous levels, and he was near impossible to beat while Kyle's abilities weren't so great, hopefully I stand more of a chance now.

I haven't gotten any farther in most of my other video games, and what little I did make isn't worth more than what I typed above.

Full Metal Alchemist AMV- From The Ashes

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nU2kvCmfH0M

I think this is a really good amv, I've watched it at LEAST a 50+ times to date. I think it really conveys a lot of things in the anime, especially since it shows the whole thing in 10 minutes! Even if I had tried, I couldn't have done any better, or for that matter even reached its current level of greatness.

That's all I've got right now, if you think I missed something let me know, ok? I'll be seeing you around.

Everything and anything that I've been doing, thinking about, and etc.

Game News
'Eternal Sonata,' 'Folklore' dare to aim high "Titles prove that video games can be arty and amusing at the same time" -MSNBC, Review By Winda Benedetti

I was rather pleased to read this review of the two games, which look absolutely spectacular, seeing as most people outside of the gaming community don't pay much attention to a game unless there is massive hype over it; Halo 3 anyone? I actually saw a newspaper article about it along with a 1-2 minute talk about it on TV.

Game progress
I forgot to put this into my last blog, but there really wasn't much to say about my game progress then anyways, and there still isn't....

Final Fantasy DOS

I finished the story Final Fantasy I a few days ago, and now I'm working on completing the monster list (61%).

I'm about 20-30% so far in FFII; the last thing I did was head towards Fynn for the Rebel attack after defeating Behemoth and rescuing Princess Hilda.

Final Fantasy VII

The last time I played FFVII I was 15% done, though before my data got erased I was at 69%, stupid PS1 memory card... I'm just gonna have to work my way back up to that point again and give it my all so I can finish it!

Super Robot Taisen OG 1
Ep 18 with Kyosuke
Ep 17 with Ryusei

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

I'm still at Misery Mire after a few months; I can't get past the stupid first hallway! I guess I just need to look at a strategy guide again for some tips....

Halo 1

Well... I've finally gotten to The Two Betrayals in Halo; I spent my whole afternoon right up to dinner getting that far. I'm only on Normal mode right now though, so my skills can't compare very well to some who have been playing since it was released. That's why I should obviously try out Heroic and Legendary modes to improve my skills. Even though my skills aren't the best, I'm WAY better than I was a month ago; back then almost anybody could beat me.

Photoshop Game Art
These are pictures from games that I got that I've edited, there isn't very much right now, but it'll increase soon enough.

Anime Sketches
A recent addition to my pictures on my profile, here you can find all the hand drawn anime sketches I've scanned onto my PC and uploaded to date.

Game Collection Pics
These are the pictures of my Game collection that I've posted so far in my blogs, all posted for the convenience of just going to that part of my profile, instead of having to backtrack through my blogs:D.

My G-pad and my new custom tab

I made a G-pad awhile ago, but forgot to mention it when I made it, I believe it was right after the 2nd blog back that I made that I created it. I also made a stats page with my goals, entire game collection list, favorites, and etc.

AMV Completion
Gundam AMV Update

I've finished my Regular version of my Gundam AMV, and I've FINALLY thought of a name for it, Everlasting Gundam AMV. The Extended version is coming along slowly, but I should be able to release them both in another month or so, maybe even longer if needed.

Regular Edition 100% Completion
Extended Edition 40% Completion

Wrapping it up
I've now just conveyed what I've been working on since my last blog, and it took me basically all week to write all this in between school/homework, and other plans that interfered with gaming and such. And its a wrap! (Think film director)

RPGs, AMVs, and more

A New Game
So I've gotten a new game within this past week, Super Robot Taisen Original Generation 1. For those who don't know, I already have number 2. I've had it since around the time it was released, but back to what I was saying. I bought a used copy of it for about $16 and I'm now on Ep 13 with Kyosuke and Ep 8 with Ryusei.
RPG games I'm looking forward to
1. Kingdom Hearts Sleep by Birth PSP

This is by far the one game that I have been looking forward to ever since I finished Kingdom Hearts II. I'm so hyped that its coming out for the psp! Before TGS I thought I didn't have a shot at ever playing this game 'cause I thought for sure it was going to be for the PS3, so I'm pretty glad that I'm getting a psp soon as mentioned in my previous blog.

2. Final Fantasy Vs. XIII PS3

Although I won't own a PS3 for quite some time, I'm still very excited about this game. When I saw the first trailer for it, I thought it was just amazing, and if any game has convinced me that I should EVENTUALLY get a PS3, this is it.

3. Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core PSP

Final Fantasy VII... such a great game, and this one seems to be VERY promising. It is yet another add on to the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, and I doubt it will be the last addition to it too.

3. Final Fantasy XIII PS3

Like FF vs. XIII, I won't be able to play this game for quite some time. I think this game looks awesome, and I hope it meets expectations, but Square Enix rarely disappoints (and hasn't yet).

4. Final Fantasy: Dissidia PSP

This appears to a game that I don't want to miss, seeing as it is a spin-off and has all of our favorite heroes and villains from previous FF games. I can't wait to play it when it comes out.

5. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days DS

Another Kingdom Hearts game? Square Enix sure knows how to add to the hype already surrounding the secret end movie for KHII, just release multiple games. I'm not QUITE as excited about this one, 'cause it follows Roxas, Axel, and the rest of Organization XIII. That's the only reason why it's so far down on my list compared to Sleep by Birth.

6. Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lion PSP

I loved playing the original version of this Final Fantasy A LOT. It was the first Final Fantasy I ever bought and played, and I was hooked from the moment I put the disk in the PS1. A re-release of this game sounds absolutely wonderful to me; I'll be playing it through for the third time when I get this version of it.

7. Final Fantasy Tactics A2 DS

And finally, the successor to FFTA for the GBA. I've been wondering for months now if this would ever make it over seas. As it turns out, I may be in for yet another FF Tactics game within the next few years.

AMV Projects update

Ok, so I've got some changes in release dates on my Gundam AMV. I'm gonna be releasing it A LOT later than planned, thanks to a new idea I have. I'm going to be making two versions of it, a regular version about 4 minutes long, and another about 6 minutes long. I can't put an exact date on it, but I will post more about it in my future blogs as much as possible.

I'm also going to possible redo my Star Wars Force Unleashed AMV, I'm most likely going to use some different music in it. I was also thinking of making another SRW AMV eventually, but more focused on Original Generations 1 & 2. If you have any suggestions for my any of my AMVs, please comment about it.

And for those who didn't know already, I resubmitted my latest AMV. I had some typos and mistakes that I had to clear up.

[video=ciAywjb75b8KvDHd]

Well... I'm pretty sure that's all I have to say right now, if I think of something I missed I'll put it into my next blog. I'll be seeing ya all around!

New projects, game collection pics, and more.

Hi everybody, sorry I didn't blog over last weekend, I got busy doing so many fun things.

New project stuff
Ok, so first things first, I'm redoing some of my things on GT/GS, my G-pad(GT), photo album, etc. I'm working on some strategy guides which I will be posting eventually; I'm also planning on redoing some of my reviews and submitting new ones in the near future. The only current strategy guide I'm writing is for Septerra Core, and it is VERY incomplete, don't expect to see that untill at the very least Christmas.

Here is one of the other things I'm working on right now, my slogan, let me know what you think.

"The darkness within... is equal to the light within... My darkness cannot be vanquished by any light, and my light cannot be eclipsed by any shadow..." -Medevilblader

I originally made this slogan for my banner on GS, but I wanna use it as my slogan on GT, and a different banner.

Game Collection Pics

I have also now managed to take several pictures for my game collection update, for this one, I'll post two. They are of my SNES and Sega Genesis games.

AMVs and other videos

I'm getting closer to finishing my Gundam AMV, I've managed to finally find the appropriate footage needed to fill the entire length of my song of choice; it should be finished by the end of next month at the latest. I'm also reworking my Transformers amv with some different music and slightly different scenes. More videos to expect from me are some anime/cartoon intros that I've found when rummaging through my stuff; Voltron, Sonic The Hedgehog, Transformers, etc.

Plans for new systems, games and pc upgrades

Right now I'm on track for saving up for a psp, I have $33. This would put how much I would have on Christmas day at $158 - $163, more than enough to go buy a psp with a one year warranty, and a 512 MB memory stick possibly. Some games that I'm sure to be getting for the psp on my birthday in January and afterwards would be Dungeons & Dragons Tactics, Star Wars: Lethal Alliance, Metal Slug Anthology, Prince of Persia: Rival Swords, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, Burnout Dominator/Legends, and Twisted Metal: Head-On.

I have recently gotten a new gaming sytem/outlet, a pc. Right now it isn't the best, but it works with almost every game I got besides Halo, KOTOR, Bionicle, Tron 2.0, Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries, and Mechcommander 2. All together, it's a 28/34 ratio of the games I got I can play on it. I'm planning on buying some more RAM and a new processor; for the Ghz. I'll go ahead and install the graphics card I've already got after I've installed the other stuff so it can reach its maximum potential; I don't want the other pc in the house to lose its ability to play those five games just cause I put it into a different pc. The RAM should be about $97 with taxes, and I'm not sure about the processor. Please comment if you have any suggestions for any more or different upgrades for my pc, thanks. Oh, I'm going to buy the upgrades once I've gotten the psp, its at the top of my list right now.

New Games and other stuff

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been on lately, I've been kind of busy with other things. I've mostly been busy getting ready for school, yeah; it's that time of year again. I go back to school later this week. I've been getting what supplies I need, paper, pencil, pen, backpack; my other one is showing signs of wear and tear, etc., etc.

Games

I haven't gotten too far in most of my games lately; I've focused on one game most of the time lately, Mechassault: Phantom War. It paid off too; I managed to finally beat the end boss of the game. Now I'm starting to play my other games a little bit more. I just reached Cairn Bay in Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. Tavion was a bit too easy for me to beat in the previous level, but that's only 'because her skills aren't quite as good as a Reborn Boss's is, compared to how difficult it is to defeat her in Jedi Academy.

Here are some screenshots that I took.

In Syphon Filer I've managed to get to Rhoemer's Base in Rozovaka, Kazahkstan. I find that this mission is difficult for me, but I just haven't gotten the hang of this one yet.

Age of Empires

Ok, now on to new games. I've now gotten a copy of Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings. I've played through the tutorial part and some random maps, and I've got to say, this is one game I can't stop playing! Now that I've gotten this game, I'm thinking about getting Age of Mythology and its expansion pack. It looks like a very good game too, seeing as Ensemble Studios put their expertise in historical RTS games to this; I think I'd like this game very much too.

Rainbow Six

Ihave now officially managed to get myself a copy of Rainbow Six and Rainbow Six Covert Ops Essentials. I've only just barely started playing it, so I'm not too good at some of its aspects. The main thing is I just keep dying, but I just got to keep practicing. It's the same way with my other problems with it, I can't really figure out what type of layout/strategy I need to set up in the prep menus. I haven't played Covert Ops yet, but I'll get to it eventually.

Chessmaster 5000

I got a copy of Chessmaster 5000 along with the other thee games I got; it's a very good game. I haven't played it too much cause of Mechassault and my other games, but I'm starting to play it a bit more. Though that's bound to come to a stop when school starts up like I mentioned it was up at the top of this blog, I've got to put school first, then games.

Well... that's all that's been going on in my gaming world so far, I'll blog more and such later on this weekend. See ya.
