Indie game developer experiense - from Idea to Product

First what you need to make game it an idea. I cannot say i'm so creative. So i not born brand new idea for my first game. But one evening i got enlightenment. I remember old idea come from paper frog, that can jump, also plastic frog toy, that you press, release and it make jump. It been starting point for Frog Leaps game. Name of the game come quickly on my mind. "Frog Leaps" sounds like "Frog Lips" i found funny. I still have my scribbles, where name stay on beginning of the page, so name become quickly. First few minutes and i have scribbles of main game elements. They are different and it few more than you can see in actual game. Some elements i found to scary for children, so i decide to deny them to production. Some of them not included in current version, but i working on them to include to next versions. Next i have to design screen transition, menu and other game controls. Some pages come on mind quickly and does not changes so much, other have few variants before i choose best. After that i work 50-50 on graphics design and software implementation. Cocos2d-x i've found mature and feature packed for my game. I estimate project on one month of work at free time from my main job and family responsibilities. But it takes long 6 month. I'd like to say thank you to my wife, for understanding and support. Not only emotional but also for game level development. Yes, all 36 levels of Frog Leaps game it's her work. I found it very affording. I have to change a little some levels for better performance, but main idea for every level still her.
