Well I think i'd like the games on PS3 better but Xbox Live has all the classic coin-op, SNES, and Genesis games that i'd love to have which PSN does not have.
I would really like some help in deciding which system is the better buy based on a number of factors. I've already researched the hell out of both the systems and at this point in time they are pretty even though PS3 seems to have a little more staying power. I have $300 to spend on one of these consoles right now, though later on down the road I will buy the other as well. I like the fact that PS3 has blu-ray, it is the future, but i'm not willing to buy movies for it since they are still too expensive in my opinion. The power of the PS3 is JUST starting to come through but only first party/exclusive titles will take the time to take advantage of the cell processor plus not many people can afford the kind of TV for the pretty pretty graphics that the PS3 will allow, course this will change in the future. I love all the features, the ease of use, and the built in wi-fi. The Xbox 360s power has pretty much reached its limit but that does not really matter at this point in time, MAYBE on down the line it will. Many of my friends own 360s and while it would be cool to keep up with them through the system I am not much of an online gamer. I really like the fact that Xbox Live has more classic arcade games than PSN and the fact that I can play these classic games with others from around the world. Would be kinda worried about how noisy the drive is but i'm kinda thinking that it might be exaggerated. Most of the games I want are coming out for both systems. The only exclusives that I really really want to play are Mass Effect 2(xbox) and Uncharted 2(PS3) though if Final Fantasy 13 was coming out for just one system it would be an easy choice. I would rather not spend entirely $300 at this time since I believe i'll be making more than enough a year down the road so i'm thinking of buying an Xbox 360 Arcade since a friend is willing to give me a hard drive for it and i'll end up saving $100 for a little padding for my business, however if the PS3 is truely worth getting right now then i'll get a PS3. So yeah, help!
