From time to time my (and everyone elses) iPhone starts 'cleaning' the apps. This is normal obviously but for some reason mine has been doing this for just over 5 hours, its jumping from app to app cleaning them over and over. For some reason this seems to be interfering with sending text messages too, as the little status bar is about 9/10ths full for anywhere between 30mins to an hour.

Obviously this isn't normal and it is quite inconvenient so I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone may have any ideas what to do?

Its a few years old but in great condition and I've never had any problems with it before.

I got a courier coming to pick it up this afternoon, so hopefully they'll sort it out and fix/replace it for me.

Thats a good question, I'll have to have a look. I just used the VGA port, didn't check for anything else.
