I honestly don't know what to do any more. I have googled the exact error 0x80ee000c. I have ran through every single thing they said.

I disabled my firewall, enabled upnp, even opened the ports for msn (which it had pre shown ports for the msn application).

I desperately need help since I can't turn on the whiteboard/ app sharing and I don't know what else to do.

That is the router I have and I have already unlocked all the ports for msn, enabled Upnp and it still doesn't work. I have unlocked it from the windows firewall as well as turn everything off. I am using windows xp professional.

When I install xp is it going to be like a fresh start? No music files etc. no programs no drivers? Or will stuff carry over from vista on to it?

I also am looking for a free software that will actually partition it. Partitionmagic costs quite a bit even though most of it is recommended. Any free softwares that anyone can suggest?

The main thing is that most tutorials involve starting it at the beginning and adding vista after xp. I was just afraid that I would lose like all my files or corrupt them by adding xp.

Once I add xp do I need to like re-dl graphic drivers and stuff for xp? Since I only dled the vista 32 bit stuff? Or how exactly does that work? I am assuming xp will have no programs on it and i'll have to re-dl everything.

I know people said you could dualboot win xp and vista. But I dunno if I can still install xp without messing up all my files in vista?

Will installing xp on a seperate partition mess up my vista with any chance? Or like if I install xp do I need to re-install all my programs with like the windows xp drivers?

If it won't mess up anything, can anyone guide me to a tutorial on how to set up a seperate partition for xp.

I am assuming you meant the case and psu= 100$ altogether? Since I didn't see any combo deal for 50$ But yeah I probably will go with that case but I found a cheaper psu.

Figured it's from coolermaster and the reviews are pretty good so it should be fine. And I will go with that cpu. Now I am just curious about the printer and stuff. I have never really set up a printer before so how do they connect to computers and stuff? Usb ports?

Also I notice that the hd and cd drive are sata. But I can't tell if this mobo comes with 1 or 2 sata cords.

Do I need to buy another sata cord from the looks of it? Will it even have 2 sata ports to plug it all in?

Bump for advice for any suggestions on a good mini case brand. Since the one posted seemed to have a case of bad psus.

Also I got a question about how printers hook up to computers. Is it through like usb drives or something else?

Also, since the mobo has onboard graphics when I hook up the monitor it's going to go straight into the mobo connection? Or do I like need something special to connect it?

Well my uncle hardly does anything with his computer. Goes online, looks at websites plays some pretty old and free online games. Maybe looks at some pics and stuff since he has a digital camera. That is pretty much it. He doesn't really need anything blazing fast, he just wants a pretty cheap solution that'll be quicker than his 8 year old computer.

Maybe i'll look to add another gig of ram and just give him a decent single core 2.0 ghz or so. But it's kind of pointless for him to spend 100 or more when he pretty much does nothing on his computer. So it's not like he'll be needing to do anything alot better in the future. No gaming no hard core graphic editing.
