Now as geekish as that is, I find it to be easyier to collect toys then comics. For some reason collecting comic is seen to most as a profitable and in the feild of collecting as fine art. however trying to make a profit from it and getting curent comics is very hard. Most of my stuff is in the box, however there are something i cant keep in the box and i want to see it in front of me. like this new soundwave toy i baught. ive been collecting since i was 6 years old. my mother would take me out and we would pick up TMNT, she even owns the organel TMNT figures from 1990s that are worth 100 bucks a peace.
action figures are easy to tell whats goin to sell well and whats not, all you have to do is study the marketing of the toy and how rare it will be in a few years.
like halo toys. they are worthless now but when halo 3 and halo the movie comes out they will be worth a lot. this also applies to transformers.
