You can also buy replacement ones on the nintendo website. They are $8.95 + shipping. Here's the link

DS wi-fi will not work with anything other than an unsecured or wep network. You can't change this on the ds side. If you have a macbook and an ethernet cord to connect to your router, you can follow the steps on this page to configure your macbook's airport to share it's internet on wep security, which your ds can connect to. Be warned, though, this may expose your computer to security threats.

Otherwise, I would recommend looking for a local unsecured hotspot.

I remember when I got my new OoE that it came in plain shrink wrap instead of the cellophane on most games. It bugged me too, but I preordered it from Amazon (not a third party seller) and I'm 100% certain it wasn't used or fake. My cousin's came that way, too.

Unless you're using nails or pins as a stylus for the bottom screen or push with the fury of a thousand suns, you shouldn't need any additional form of protection. My original DS survived years of abuse with no scratches, and I played a ton of screen-destroying games like Elite Beat Agents and WarioWare Touched.DJ_Lae
That's not true. A lot of styli have imperfections on the tip that can cause scratches on the screen, no matter how gentle you are with it.

It is out of print. There was a little message saying that on its amazon page for quite a while, but I don't see it there now. Looks like it's still out of print, though.
