I also wanted to add something about your knowledge but it would be insulting and i dont want to be suspended but anyone who thinks that CGI and ingame from killzone is "near" should be insulted

Yea pretty much, when sites like gamespot say it looks like the CGI trailer they mean the style of the environments and the gameplay, the realistic camera movements look great in the game play vids and the cgi trailer clearly showed this too.
[QUOTE="Kritical_Strike"]Look at the liquid physics, the lighting, the detail ESPECIALLY on Kratos himself. That kind of detail is unattainable in real-time with current hardware. A high-end PC couldn't run that, heck, most guys can't even run Crysis on high and while this looks twice as good as high Crysis.
Please, the CGI trailers are merely representations of the games that will be released. The KZ2 trailer was reached, but it was defintely more attainable than the GOW3 trailer.

To say that a high end PC can't do it is preposterous. Just take one look at Project Offset. Anyways Gamespot says that the game is close to the CG trailer. Gamespot > You
Whoever said that is a total idiot, its a PRE-RENDERED CGI TRAILER!!!!. The insanely detailed, high polly characters and environments and the effects are not even close to being achievable in real-time on any home pc let alone a console. Its crazy to even compare a game to a CGI trailer. The trailer wasn't created as a technical goal for them to reach, what the trailer was trying to get across was the realistic and chaotic warfare that will be in the game, and the look of the environments, but obviously that's not to say the game is close to that level of graphical detail.
Ask hermits. (so many games will play like a slideshow if you try to make them look as good as the console version- believe it!)
Bur anyway, a stable 30 is fine.

99% of people interested in PC gaming could easily afford to build a gaming pc far more powerful than this gen of consoles. Look at me, I'm 16, no job and i was able to build a gaming PC over the coarse of 4-5 months. NO game runs like a slide-show on my comp, which is more than i can say for a hand-full of console games. And for anyone used to playing games at 60fps and above trust me when i say 30fps is very noticeable. People say the human eye cant recognise the difference between 30fps and 60fps but there has being research and in fact the human eye can see a difference in frame-rate especially with lots of moving objects on screen.
