Great update, though these are all features that should've been in place from day one. Glad to see that they are hearing us when we inquire about some of this stuff! There's still tons of room for improvement though and I think as time rolls on, Nintendo will continue to deliver-- Just don't take too long guys.
PS: Thanks for the wireless headset support! Wasn't expecting it! Sooooo HAPPY to have it! ;)
@AzatiS: Both Metroid games were a shock. No one was expecting either. Hoping, yes. But expecting, no.
Mario this time around is starting to look like a completely different approach altogether. It looks to be a game that's once again stepping out of it's comfort zone and re-invent itself the same way Mario 64 did in 1996 and like Zelda BOTW did this year. This is what most of want from Nintendo and it's games; we want them to evolve. If there's anything I took away from their week long E3 showing, it's this: Nintendo IS listening to it's fans and IS attempting to deliver.
And let's not forget the Splatoon 2 invitational. God, I cannot even tell you how bad I want to play that game! I am totally tying myself in knots waiting for it!
And I don't think there's a single Switch owner out there that's going to pass on Xenoblade 2.
I really felt this year it was between Nintendo and UbiSoft! I enjoyed both showings immensely, but if I can only choose one, then it's gotta be Nintendo. They had the most surprises and delivered on what we both hoped and expected to hear at E3!
@groowagon: I was just about to say the same thing, haha! But yeah, this game IS better than Witcher 3 (and I love that game to pieces). So many crazy possibilities and different ways to approach a situation. You really have to think your way through this game. I love it!
I was very sad to hear that these sold out before I was able to make it to GS for a reservation. I may have to pull the trigger on the Sheikah Eye Edition Bundle.
@toffifee: And the Switch has expandable memory. Look, there's no scenario without a storage solution for the Switch, regardless whether you choose to download your games or not.
Even a $49 SDXC Card quadruples what your phone holds, so...
@toffifee: Why would you spend $200 for extra storage when the game cards do the same thing at no additional cost? If this was a disc-based system I would agree with you because disc-based systems require some form of storage.
@angrycreep: Yes, I read your entire post. In fact, it's the exact same storage hurdle players experienced with the Wii U, but with a better solution. So it's really not a problem if you know how you're planning to purchase and store your games.
