[QUOTE="MikadoNY"]What other choice would their have been? LOL at the insane amount of s*** people would say just to blame America. I also like how no one replied to the two good posts and just overlooked them in this thread. Guess when you know you lost the argument, ignore that post and argue with someone else.Stavrogin_

I on the other hand, can't believe the lengths some people will go to just to defend the country they are from even when it's blatantly obvious they're wrong. I'm not talking just about Americans, i'm talking about everyone everywhere. Most of the users here are Americans i guess, so that's one reason why people here try so hard to make the US look like the good guys EVERY SINGLE TIME!

But, visit some other forums, French, Russian, Serbian, Italian etc etc, you'll see people defending their countries and blaming others even when it's so goddamn obvious their country is not guilt free.

Stupid patriotism and nationalism brainwashed (almost) everyone... :(

Most people are going to defend their own country. From what I've seen this forum is probably 60/40 American. The reason why Americans defend our country is because every non-American tries to make us seem like the devil. I'll be the first to say America was wrong in most situations, but I honestly believe what we did was the best option. Was it right? No. But it's war. Is there ever a right option? As others have said, Japan would have not surrendered.

[QUOTE="Firebird-5"][QUOTE="finalstar2007"]

If games like Mario, pokemon, halo and so on release every single year then why cant Call of Duty do it too? its simple if you dont want to buy it then dont, its breaking worldwide records because people LOVE IT! its such an addicting series

finalstar2007

at least those games actually change the formula. pokemon has changed a lot over the years, as with mario and the rest. cod has remained stagnant.

Pokemon and change put together? really now? how have pokemon changed over the many years? its the same thing everytime every single year, you start with one pokemon, train them, catch them all over again, battle the gyms and thats it, over and over again every year and dont get me started on mario. Call of Duty changes in terms of online ( i dont care about story in CoD ), new perks, streaks, features every release exactly same with the games i listed. if people got tired of it you wouldnt see it breaking records every single year right? in terms of shooters, no shooter can even come close to the superior Call of Duty

You probably shouldn't talk about Pokemon and how it doesn't change considering you've obviously never played the games. It changes a lot more than Call of Duty.

Wait, it is PS3? I didn't look at your link but judging by the posts putting numbers, it's PS3. I voted for it just for the rofls. Probably because multiplatform gamers got it on PS3 since it was supposed to come with 1943.

There is nothing more messed up than slaughtering hundreds of thousands of innocent people. Sure it averted a land invasion, sure the Japanese committed horrible acts themselves, but there had to have been another way...LiftedHeadshot

pearl harbor has a much much much better case for terrorism than dropping bombs on the person who bombed you without a declaration of war.

Nonsense. America is always the villain.

Who is this guy? Might be my ignorance but I don't pay attention to politics, it's not like we have a say anyway. All I know is I saw a picture on the internet that said "Rocked you like a Herman Cain"

and just complain that "it's the same thing" which is simply not true.StealthMonkey4
Which explains why all my friends who are diehard CoD fans feel they spend $60 on DLC? The only thing they added was more strawberry jam when you get shot, and a cool little timer to the campaign/multiplayer/special ops screen. In MW2 it just had a percentage of how much you completed.

that guy needs to get laid bad

almasdeathchild
..he spends 1.7k on a game and he needs to get laid? What does that even have to do with getting a girl? Seriously I don't understand gamers at all. They get their panties in a bunch when some media outlet does a story on gamers and it's all stereotypes and cry "IM NOT LIKE THAT!" but then you guys just go and put stereotypes on other people.

It's far less time consuming to buy a TV dinner than it is to make a really good meal from scratch, but in the end which one tastes better? The more effort you put in the more you get out of it. Now maybe your lifestyle only allows for TV dinners, that's fine. But don't make it seem like it's better because it's faster (or you're too lazy).
