Just had to take a break...

... a break from the whole freakin' internet. I'm amazed at how it has come to consume my life. I think i've figured out how to manage both though, so i'm back.

I saw Batman Begins last night and it was, in the words of Peter Griffin "freakin' sweet!" No complaints whatsoever. If you love action movies, Batman, or good stuff in general go see this movie. I COMMAND IT!!!!

...but i'm back!

yeah i've been gone for somewhere in the neighborhood of a month. In the midst of school, work, and some personal matters i've forgoten all about Gamespot. But now i'm back and ready to remedy this. I'm gonna make an effort to be in the community more regularly now.

Oh, incase anyone here goes to a college or university, thefacebook.com is a good place for you.

It's been a while...

...yeah, I know I haven't been around lately (as if anyone has missed me :P). The GAAC has been taking up loads of my time, but i'm here now attending to my neglected duties to the GS community. I recently purchased Alien Hominid. All of the new stuff they added that wasn't in the flash game make it even greater than it once was. The thing I like most about AH though is that it is a complete and total throwback game, where you (and possibly a friend) just jump into the game and face the neverending wave of enemies and obsticles that are thrown at you, and that's what made a lot of the older games that continue to hold up to this day fun. Companies don't make games like that anymore and I really wish they would.

IN other news...I WANT A PSP!!!!! If only I had $300 to spend on the pack and a Lumines, I would be set.

Ya know what, my little rant about throwback games is going to go into the Video game intellectual union (or whatever it's called).

Gamers Alliance Against Censorship

I don't quite know how advertising works, but I feel this is something important enough to risk a little trouble.

The Gamers Alliance Against Censorship is a group of gamers from around the country dedicated to gathering information, journalism, reviews and various other pieces of information pertaining to the effects of videogames on our society. We seek to uncover the truth and the real facts, to rebuttal various persons who actively attempt to ban and censor games due to misconstrued beliefs, and to better educate you the reader on video games in general.

I urge everyone who reads this to join.

go to this website

it's in japanese, but it's for the Namco/Capcom crossover game so it's going to rule.
Check it out here:

For those who don't know, it's a strategy RPG featuring Namco and Capcom characters. Both companies are going WAAAAAAAY back for this one. Plus we are going to see characters that have never made it stateside.

I cannot wait for this game. It is going to own with a capital P.

Gaming stuff

When I first became of the PSPand it's launch lineup, one of the games that caught my attention was Lumines. It was made by Ubisoft, and it seemed like a very unique addictive Tetris-like puzzler that seemed like something I might enjoy. The GS review of Lumines has confirmed this, and now I want a PSP more than ever.

Also I made a great purchase today. For 70 bucks I am going to be gettng a SNES and Chrono Trigger....yeah, CHRONO TRIGGER!!!! I think it's the single best purchase I have ever made, and it is going to be official tomorrow. Yay Me!!

My actual blog

In case any of you are wondering why I don't really update the journals here at GS, it' because I already have a journal at the website below.

I think I may put a link to it here for any who are interested, but i'm not sure yet.

Oh and sorry to any and all for not posting much. Work and school have come to kick me in the face the past few days.
