so ive come to the conclusion that you can no longer have a differing opinion than someone else without being flamed for it. this is why i have a hard time reading forums. take gamespot for example... why do we need system wars? because people feel the need to try to change someone elses opinions based on what they like. now im not taking any sides. yes i own a 360 but by no means do i think the other systems suck. they just arent my style for differing reasons. how stupid of an argument would this be?
-dude, your girlfriend sucks
-why?
-because shes brunette
-so?
-so mine is blonde. and everyone knows blondes are better
-why?
-because i like blondes better than brunettes
yeah that is how i look at system wars and the fanboys who rant and rave about how this game or this system is so much better than another. what happened to just gaming for gaming? i dont like sports games... does that mean they are bad games or that the people who like them are immature and stupid? no. i cant review them because obviously i would have a bias towards that genre. now give me an shooter or racing(yes i know racing would be considered a sport) and i will give you the good and bad points of one without personal bias.
all in all... just shut the **** up and realize people like different things. its what makes the world interesting. its what drives creativity.
