User reviews in my experience are definitely the most accurate, because pretty much every game that i play and then proceed to check the metacritic(user and pro), the user one is always the one that i concur with, reviews usually have less than 50% influency for me to buy games, i check some reviews then proceed to watch gameplay bits over the internet, then if i feel like, i buy the game and draw my own conclusions, pretty much always when i go back to check the scores again, my opinion is aligned with user metacritic, for me the "professionals" usually underrates many great games(ex: spectrobes origins, imo, one of the coolest exclusives on the wii) and overrates others. This is my personal experience, i didnt said it should be the case for everyone, so, as i said, i stand with users' scores without regrets.
