It's also listed in-store at some GAME outlets. Fair chance of being legit.

I don't know if that would be a good idea either, unless they did some epic story of another conduit with other powers and did the whole GTA DLC treatment, anything else wouldn't do the game justice considering how perfect everyhintg comes together. Of course, I'd rather they work on the sequel than on DLC.

SPYDER0416
We know from what Moya tells Cole towards the end of the game that the army is preparing for a ground invasion - the air force was hitting strategic targets (the First Sons were shooting them down). DLC could easily cover the invasion, with Cole fighting the army and eventually Cole and Zeke being forced to find a way to escape Empire City as it is slowly occupied by the military, allowing the next game to take place in a new city. I think it's probably one of the best things they could do to set us up for a sequel.

When GT5 comes out you will see ads in the UK

thelastguy
You will see ads all across Europe as Gran Turismo's launch approaches. It's a monolithic franchise (the original GT sold at least as much as FFVII on PS1) and it's very big in the EU. If it arrives in time for Christmas, Sony is going to have a very nice holiday season.

Before they realised they needed a re-launch and to push it with all their marketing might, Sony believed that the strength of their brand and their hardware would be enough to keep the Playstation 3 going - I don't think they expecting Microsoft to throw money around and frame all gaming discussion as well as they have. They also didn't want to spend the extra money, since they were already losing hundreds of dollars/yen/euros/pounds on each PS3 sold. A lot of their divisions have been in the red for a while now, so they were looking to cut costs however they can.

I think the management has displayed poor understanding of the direction the industry has taken, and that Japanese development as a whole (outside of Capcom) is dragging its feet and refusing to actually evolve to meet the changing demands of consumers. JRPGs don't sell any more unless they're called Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest; the gameplay is too dated, the action isn't visceral enough, the characters only appeal to otaku in Japan..there're a ton of problems they haven't addressed because they refuse to see them, or they don't want to acknowledge Japan's falling stake in gaming. They also want to break into the Western market, and Japanese ethnocentrism informed their decision making about it - they assumed that, because Japanese people tend to buy Japanese products, so too must Americans tend to buy American products. So they've supported the 360 disproportionately in the hope of getting a foothold in America. It's backfired because the market they want to appeal to doesn't actually like their games. They've also received very large amounts of money from Microsoft for exclusivity, because (somewhat poetically) Microsoft want to break into the Japanese market as bad as Square-Enix want to break into America's. Eventually they'll put titles out on PS3 simply because the demographics that buy their games - especially among the Japanese - will still buy their products on that platform. And because they will need to recoup investment in major HD titles somehow, given the poor sales they've seen.
