...so celebrate!
Exams are finally over so I should probably update a bit more often now... even though no one really every reads anything I write. It really sucks not to be appreciated, you know?I would've posted something about something random like I usually do a bit earlier but like I just said, I've been crazy busy over the last little while and just didnt't get a chance to do so.
So did anyone see how hot Angelina Jolie looked at the SAG awards yesterday? Let me just tell you, DAMN HAWT! Anyways when I get something real to talk about I'll post again, but till then, GOODBYE my oh so loyal fans.
Edit: I just noticed that my Level is 9 with 99.56% to go till 10:|. What the hell...

Why So Serious?

In other news, Prison Break is back on TV after a brief hiatus and The Sarah Connor Chronicles doesn't suck that bad... but it's not that great either.
And that is enough for today my friends,

Buh Bye HD-DVD
by MisterShak on Comments
Here's the link.
That officially leaves only Universal and Dreamworks (in addition to Toshiba and Microsoft) as the sole supporters of HD-DVD.
So what do you think?
Ah crap... school.

Anyways, that's enough exhertion for today.
Mister Shak, out.
Finally, something to watch.

If any of you guys have been watching TV in the past couple months you can surely agree that it pretty much sucks major b@ll$ thanks to that damn Strike that's been going on. Besides Friday Night Lights (which has had an exteremly weird schedual recently) and Reaper (with an equally weird schedual) there really isn't much to watch besides sports.
Now, I'm not the biggest fan of reality but eh, I've got to admit its been pretty good recently. Take the recently concluded season of Survivor for example; contrary to what I expected, it was actually pretty good. The one thing that makes or breaks a reality TV show is its contestants. A crappy set of contestants and you instantly have a crappy show. And that's exactly what Survivor China got right; its contestants. There were actually people participating in the show that I wanted to see win, which isn't exactly how I felt about some of the contestants featured in prior seasons of the show.
Another good reality TV show back on air is the newest season of The Apprentice, known as "The Celebrity Apprentice". Now I'll be the first one to say that when The Apprentice moved to LA, it smelt worse than my crap does on most days. The entire setting of the show just felt weird. When I think of business, I don't think of LA, I think of New York, so it's nice to see the Apprentice back in the Big Apple. Beyond that, the inclusion of (not so famous) celebrities has really helped breath some new life into the slowy dying series.
Ooooh and guess what. Prison Break is back next week! I can't wait. Alright I'll give it you, Season 2 sucked, but if you've watched Season 3 you can probably agree that it's finally almost on par with the first season.
Even with Prison Break however, I want to see more Chuck and Heroes and whatever other shows I watched a couple months ago. Damn you Writer's Striker... just end already!
Until next time,
Mister Shak, out
P.S. Sorry if you were offended by any "harsh" language I may have used.
Crackdown. Damn fun.
by MisterShak on Comments
So I just got a used version of Crackdown for the 360 this past week and damn, it sure is fun. It's not the type of game you play for its story or for its wondeful missions and whatnot but surprise... that's not the point. It just puts you in this huge city and lets you go crazy. Your given a simple task, eliminate all the gang leaders, but your not forced to do so.
I never thought I'd like it much, especially considering how amazing GTA 4 looks, but I was wrong. Don't let some of the reviews deter you, its not as bad as they say.
A couple bad things I should mention though: you have to level up your driving skills to be any good at it. Also, the absense of any real story or proper mission structure may turn some people off.
Eh, it'll never be as good as GTA but otherwise, like I said before, Crackdown is just plain fun. At least give it a rent.
R.I.P. d_eM_s... Gamespot barely knew you.
by MisterShak on Comments
Like the title kind of implies, I'm the man formerly known as d_eM_s. Why did make a new account? I was thinking it was time for change. A new beginning, much like the one Gamespot needs right now. I had my last account since 2005, I'd gotten up to Level 20 but that was through letting it simply sit around gathering dust. I'm going to try to be a bit more active in the community this time... but I doubt that'll ever happend.
So, as you can probably tell, this is my first ever blog (ever!) and yes, it probably sucks. I really have nothing to talk about so some suggestions would be nice. I wonder if anybody will ever even read this, and if you do, tell me what you think.
And that concludes the first (only?) Shak Attack... so watch you back.
Mister Shak, out.
