Meant to make more progress on Monster Hunter last night, but thought Hey, why don't I just take a boo at Uncharted Co-Op Arena for just a little bit?

Two am.

I think I have a problem.

Spent my Saturday night in the sewers of Castelia City, fighting Rattatas. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

Been plugging away at Monster Hunter 3 this week, doing my level best to progress without screaming in frustration and then hitting the road to find myself in Tibet.  But last night I returned to the comfort of Uncharted 3 Co-Op, which is like a warm blanket after a day of fighting polar bears.

As I get older, I find multiplayer shooters are a young man's game. Co-Op is where the more frail of  us wander, wanting to help one another survive the onslaught of AI instead of getting teabagged by some young punk full of youth and stolen Daft Punk songs on his iPod.

Upon hearing that Adam Sessler is no longer with G4, I can finally drop the channel from my cable service. I was only keeping it to watch X-Play. I'm loyal that way. It'll be interesting to see how long Morgan Webb stays with the show.

I remember the golden days when G4 was about gaming. Sigh. Retro shows, shows where people would just sit and talk about games, a time when eleven pm meant a new episode of X-Play before bed. Those were halycon days, now as distant as gramophones and dirigibles.
