[QUOTE="Vinegar_Strokes"][QUOTE="KingTuttle"] Blu Ray is indestructible. Impervious to any damage. I'm going to use a blowtorch on a BR disc and prove it! Oh.. and put it on youtubeKingTuttlei hear the next space shuttle is to be constructed purely from unsold copies heavenly sword LMAO.....oh man. Thanks for the laugh. Fueled by ET cartridges burnt into pure energy. That's a brilliant way to create more jobs in the US. Hire people to sift the old ET cartridges out of the sand in White Sands NM...

[QUOTE="italygamer"] you're missing the point and I understand the 360 owners for complaining about this "lack of care" from Microsoft. putting a sticker with a warning not to move the console while the disc is spinning sounds like something from 15 years ago. that's the thing people cannot understand and neither can I actually. italygamer
What are they supposed to do provide an armed bodyguard for the system?
... let's not consider the xbox 360 now, okay? as you seem to be very sensitive about it. let's just say you have the option to buy 2 dvd players each around the same price and pretty much the same characteristics, but one scartches discs and the other doesn't when tilting it. consider that we're in 2010 and that the technology to prevent the disc-scratching is there. would you be like "who cares" or would find it somehow ridiculous?Let's say the one that scratches provides me with a warning saying it does when I move the player in motion when I shouldn't be moving it to begin with.. Should I be upset with the maker of the device because of my lack of foresight?
Not at $150 they won't.

How many parents were willing to pay $2000 a few years ago to get a Wii on eBay? $1000 for a Tickle Me Elmo? If the kid wants it that bad, the money will not be an issue...
What would you have done if it wasn't replaced? I don't consider this a problem that would even make me think twice about getting a 360, but I'm sure I'd be mad if I accidentally moved it and the game inside was unplayable.RogueShodownSeeing that it was COD World at War, probably thanked the Gaming Gods....

I have never seen so many threads trying to discredit something. I don't remember all these types of threads when the PS3 Slim launnched. I guess if my PS3 gets knocked to the floor while its on I should expect the thing to work while it is hitting the ground.

[QUOTE="MizFitAwesome"]I already stated that the only game I have ever scratched was done by me turning my system on and forgetting there was a game inside when I moved it. I didn't go on a tirade about how it was MS's fault. Just took the game back and got it replaced....

you didn't answer the second part of my post. do you disagree that MS could be considered the least reliable console this gen?
No I don't . That's just a matter of opinion though because I actually have had more problems with the Wii I had owned...
[QUOTE="MizFitAwesome"] A previous link said 56000 people complained. Sure they have a right to complain. Just like the rest of us have the right to laugh at them for lack of CS. Remember when the Wii launched and all those dumb people destroyed there HDTV's and other electronics by flinging their Wiimotes at them? I could never fully understand why that was Nintendos fault.

so you've never accidentally knocked something over or kicked something? that's certainly not a lack of common sense, that's just being human. no, its not microsoft's fault. however, i don't think that its too far out of line to say that the 360, particularly the earlier models, probably used extremely cheap parts. not to say that sony and nintendo didn't do the same thing, but i personally think the 360 is the least sturdy unit this gen.

This is the 1st response usually given when a person can't provide an answer. The original argument was already debunked over and over again.
