those are preety good numbers. Not massive, bu with a start like this Crysis will easily pass 2mln copies worldwide,

people only posted US sales, and they dont include digital medias, 85k in 1 week only on america(where pc sales arent very strong) is pretty damn good, remember that the witcher is about to reach 2million, and that pc games sell in a long period of time instead of having a huge spike on launch and then starting to descend.

thats not the case, the market is flooded with MMO's right now, those games are extremly time consuming and exensive to be played, they might be great games but they end up being repetitive and generic most of the time, i know that theres a lot of lore behind most mmo's and the quests can be quite intresting, but in the end the gameplay and battle mechanics and up being simple and quests kinda repetitive, not to mention griding like hell to get the best gear...

blizzard is a company that makes gold on every single game they touch, so i woudnt mind if they made any other type of game, since iam not too found of mmo's, why not a lost vikings sequel, that would be intresting and theres very few games like that on the market right now

iam not from the US, id have to pay taxes for that

it would take competition away, consoles would be extremly expensive and developers woudnt have to worry about quality much more then they already do these days, since most good titles are multi plat and they get loads of money to keep a game exclusive, so in a way its healthy to console gaming.

pc is a system that has no competition and it happens exactly what your sayng, developers try hard to bring the best into their games, but thats only because they can puch techology further then they could on a console, and develop games for PC is also much cheaper, allowing more developers into the battle.
