Games For Windows .... No Thanks!

Reasons why you should Upgrade your stable, smooth and awesome Windows XP to a bug-full new Microsoft-ish operating system:

first of all i would like to say that i was really impressed with all the work they put in this peace of candy, i really like windows Vista but not enough to run to the store and pick the Ultimate pack and come home stick it in and install windows.

i will tell you why not, because Microsoft really sucks at making good stuff from the first try, meaning they have to release thier crap and when people find their bugs and after suffering for a couple of week they release a fix.

windows 95, 98 ,and even windows xp was a pain in the ass when they were released ... but after a while and heapload of patches and fixes i can honstly that Windows Xp is a Stable invironment, xD.

Windows Vista has new feature, oh boo ... what new stuff you got, we offer you the future the Aero or whatever its called, a new interface that will deliver the future to your disktop.

well Apple, Linux and probably everyone else have beating you to that, you dont care about others as long as it doesnt work on your computer then go get the Vista Trasformation packs for winXP. enjoy the looks without the hassels.

Without windows Vista you cant play all the cool Direct X 10 games. such as Crysis, Halo2 and so on........

well bring it on, when they come out i will reconsider, because then there will be like a hundred patches released for Vista, much cheaper DX10 video cards, and most probably a Fix for Vista Only Applications.

DRM: Digital Rights Management ,i wont even explain that ... but i will just tell you an example, you go buy a
SPDIF. Speakers ... which arent that cheap, and have really good quality you test them on windows XP and wow your amazed ... now you upgrade to windows Vista and nothing is working you check the speakers a million times and nothing is working.

because Microsoft used DRM which check where you data is going and since
SPDIF isnt supported by many vendors it wont work.

For the X64 version of Vista, for now there are too little support for any kind of x64 technology, i mean softwares, i suffered when i was using Windows XP x64 .. so in a couple of months we will get a handfull of 64 applications so why the hurry.

and finally running a game on windows vista needs alot of work to be done .. so why hassle when you can enjoy the easy work on windows XP. and why spend your day reading incompatibility errors telling you that you cant run your favorite game because it just wont let you.!

and dont forget the fact that games ran worse on vista, check out the benchmarks.
