I'm not in the market of an Xbox, but this thing HAS to be $399. But, it won't be, so it has already started down a road that will be unpleasant for Microsoft. One thing really stumbled Microsoft in this generation was their $499 price point with the first Xbox One, the arrogant announcement kerfuffle did't help, and the being a tiny bit less powerful 'on paper' than PS4 didn't help....but price is what really put it behind. Microsoft is crazy...for a lot of reasons.. but the idea that they might be making yet another $499 console just shows they are brain-dead.

The Scorpio needs to be $399, if in the next year they can't or won't make that happen they are screwed. They are already screwing up on the PC Store side, they are already bring the worst of PC gaming to consoles and the worst of console gaming to PCs...but now possibly a making a MORE expensive machine? They are screwed if that happens.

Getting a SSD is foolish since to get one of substantive size would be more of an expense than it is worth ...even if all game woudl benefit...which they likely wouldn't. Your best bet is a Solid State Hybrid Drive or what's called an SSHD,it has nearly the speed of access of an SSD...but cost less per MB in storage.

Anyone listening to all these idiots online (like Kotaku) recommending pure SSDs should be shot...why spend $500 on a storage drive when you can do it for $119.

Do what other people are saying, but also take the game's advice. It is always telling you "There is no shame in running away." As a Strider, you should be staying a few yards back of the main action. Also, it helps to have a Pawn that "knows" to draw attention so you can sit back and pick off enemies with your bow skills. The game is also set up so that you WILL meet enemies or groups beyond your skill. Those are not errors or weird spikes of difficulty those are SITUATIONS that are simply beyond you ability to tackle at that time. Run away, if you find yourself over matchedbut run away from the direction you came unless you want to get deeper into trouble. Most enemies will not follow you much beyond fifty yards and as long as you keep moving away.
