Huzzah!

Things to "HUZZAH!" about?

1) Parents gave me black 30 gig Ipod for a graduation (from highschool) present a few days ago. I have been trying to fill it up with music like crazy, but I have only gotten 1.5 gigs so far. Feel free to comment and reccomend some music to me. I like pretty much everything except Country music. 30 gigs seems to be a bit of overkill :P Huzzah!

Here's what my Ipod looks like:

2) Gamespot gives me "Good Taste" tag for my emblem. :D Huzzah!

3) I finally figured out how to get through the Grojnyj Grad weapons lab in Metal Gear Solid 3, which I was stuck at for over a week :o Huzzah!

Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence

Never played a Metal Gear Game in my entire life and just yesterday I decided to give the series a shot, so I picked up Subsistence for $29.99. All I have to say is: WOW!. I never thought this game would be this amazing. I know it's the third entry in the series and I know I have missed out on some of the plot, but even without knowledge of the previous games the interesting and great story line has really lured me in. I love the way they tie in historical events with fictional events going on in the background. The graphics are flipping amazing to say the least. From what I hear, the original MGS3 had only an overhead camera, but I am really glad they put in the new 3rd person fully rotational camera in Subsistence because it really shows off the intense and amazing character models and backgrounds. When you zoom in on Snakes face you can see the incredable, painstaking detail they put in to make this game look the best it possibly can for such a system. Just today I decided to try out the online mode, and again I was completely surprised. I never thought the online mode would be this great. It's easily accessible for newcomers as well as those who have been playing it for quite some time. Not only is it easily the best that PS2 online has to offer, but it holds it's own as one of the greatest online modes I have ever played, on any console, period. All in all, I am really glad I decided to give the MGS series a chance when I picked up Subsistence. It's an outstanding game with outstanding production values, and is easily one of the greatest games ever made.

Open For Business

I am accepting sig and banner requests now. :D Here's 2 banners I made already.

Edit: They get cut off on the side so if you wanna see the whole thing just right click it, press properties, and paste the url in your browser window.

Not About Sigs

I have been playing piano for over 9 years and studying music for a few years. A week ago I decided I wanted to compose something and yesterday I finished my first composition. Sooo yeah...I'm happy about that...:D

Four Sigs and Counting

So, I've finished 4 sigs of very similar style.

Now that I've got the blending down, I think I'll go on to doing different styles and more complicated sigs.

If anyone is reading this, please rate them :D

I'm FINALLY starting to under stand Photoshop!

I've spent alot of today looking around online for photoshop tutorials and what not and I finally hit some luck. I found a union called Liquid Designs (which is basically a photoshop art union) and I started looking around at profiles of some of the members and what not and I found a bunch of cool tutorials. They've really helped me a lot with photoshop, and I'm doing things now that I never knew was possible before. I'm still not very good yet but I am slowly working my way, and hopefully someday I will be able to use photoshop like the pro's. :D Anyways, here's a link to the union if you want to check it out.

I also made these two sigs today. If you want to rate them then go right ahead, and don't be easy on me. But most of all, tell me how I can improve :D

The Magus (Chrono Trigger) one is my favorite. Also, please don't steal these.

Just Finished Resident Evil 4 (Don't worry, no spoilers)

I must say that this is the most impressive game that I have played in many, MANY years. The last time I had this much fun playing through a Playstation game for the first time was 5 years ago when I was playing Final Fantasy X.

I whole-heartedly recommend Resident Evil 4 to everyone that enjoys games. The graphics, gameplay, soundtrack are absolutely stunning from beginning to end. As well, the game is very long so you are certainly getting your money's worth; especially if you are playing the PS2 version, as there are quite a few mini games and extras to play once you've finished.

If you can handle a bit of blood and gore then you don't want to miss out on this game.

P.S. Playing this game game in the middle of the night, in the dark, is the best time. It really provides quite a thrill.
