Xfire does support that, you but only if the other people you are talking to are using xfire. As for in-game VoIP, I have yet to see a game that supports that option...

I already specified that I don;t have a budget, you guys tell me the best stuff and I'll deal with it, but please, use the most simplified name of things and don't really describe things... I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to these things. Just tell me the names of the stuff I should get and I'll do that. I just want something that'll play games really ell and run Photoshop at good speeds. I'm not aasking for some master of editing computer, I'd prefer to be more geared towards games and stuff and then I know photoshop will run fine based on the way I use it.

Hey! Okay, I've been using this PC for 7 years now (I know... really long time :?)! Anyway, my dad finally caved and we're getting a new one. Now I gave some specs but I'm the worlds greatest noob when it comes to PC hardware and OSs and stuff so I need some help.

These are the stuff that are on the price quota but we wanna improve them:

Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4 GHz Processor
Gigabyte P35DS3L Motherboard
4GB DDR2 RAM
1TB SATA HDD (2x500GB)
DVD Writer
FDD
Nvidia GeForce 8800GT 512MB PCI Express
Vista Ultimate 64-bit

Now I said that I'm a total noob, but I know for fact that we can improve on the Graphics card and maybe the processor. Now I'm gonna use this for all sorts of things from Photoshop to Gaming but I don't really do programming or anything like that. So really, Web Browsing, Photoshop and Flash and other designing programs and games... Games that run fast.

What I need to know now is how I can improve on this system. Tell me everything which is good and everything which I can change and what I should get instead of what it is I have on there. Price is not an issue. Tell me the best of the best. Another question, do you recommend I switch to 64-bit yet, or should I just stick to 32-bit? As I said, I don't use THAT many non-liscenced programs, so I doubt compatability would be an issue. Either way, tell what I should change and with what sould change it because I really want a good PC.

Thanks alot for your help guys, really appreciate it :D!

Well, I'm pretty much going to buy a PS3 in the coming months, or maybe for Xmas because some games like LBP are way too good to let up and all I have at the moment is a Wii. It's sad, but that's my financial situation. I finally got me some money but I might just wait for Xmas and get a PS3.

I just wanted to know some things, specifically about the PSN.

First, how many games actually support Voice and is it friends only or can anyone talk to anyone?

How often do demos come to the PS Store and how many games do have demos? How similar is it to the frequency and quantity to the demos on the 360? Do downloadable games have demos too?

How reliable is online play? Any severe lags? How laggy is it compared to the 360s online?

Are most games online enabled?

Do Background downloads work when the PS3 is in standby (or off)? Can you see your downloads status off your PSP via remote play?

How is support for the trophies going thus far?

I'm really hoping someone here is nice enough to answer these questions because I really want to know these things and google or any other search engine just isn't gonna cut it for such specific little questions.

Thanks for your help. I hope I can join all of you soon on the PSN.

When Facebreaker comes out, buy it and play it (unless there's a demo on the PSN, I'm not sure) then you'll see why they love them. I was like you, a not so captivated by fighters person, but this game... wow...

Well, it's basically a yellow PSP but the buttons are white and the UMD cover is also white, that's all...I wish the ring around the word PSP was a bitten doughnut..ah well...

That's a pretty good price, I think it's like 40 bucks at the store. Good find!

I wanted to get one myself, but I'll wait till next week. PSN has some good stuff for it.
