Yeah,I figured as much. I heard only high end ones MIGHT be able to be upgradeable. Ah well, I'll save up for a gaming PC. =)

I didn't realize that- but I was just wondering how good it was in comparison for the recommended ones- anyway, obviously better, as it's a few years newer, haha.

But anyways, thanks for your answer. Much appreciated.

I recently installed Oblivion on my laptop, and it works decently at Medium quality. But I want it to look pretty, of course. So I was thinking of getting a new video card. I've heard rumours, though, that most laptop video cards are built into the motherboard, which means that I wouldn't be able to change it, right?

The rest of my computer specs far exceed Oblivion's requirements, for example:

2.0 Dual core processor instead of the needed 2.4

2 GB ram instead of 512 MB

The only thing that seems to be hindering it is my video card, a NVIDIA MCP67M GeForce 7150 M. So I looked up Video Cards on Future Shop, and found some reasonably priced ones. I just don't know if Oblivion will support them.

EVGA e-GeForce 9600GT 512MB PCI-Express Video Card

This seems to be good, but again, I don't know if Oblivion will support it. Would it just be because Oblivion is already slightly old so the Numbers have changed? So the 9600 would be better than the recommended 6200- 7800 series? I'm not very good with video cards, so I probably sound like an idiot, but if someone could enlighten me, that would be great.

PS, I'm running an HP Pavillion Entertainment PC notebook. I'm not quite sure on the exact make number, but I could check later if it is needed.
