Moroes' forum posts
I can see where you are coming from, but having a 10-10 record as a head coach after basically getting rid of every playmaker on your offense and plunging the team into a rebuilding mode isn't as bad as I had expected. By the way, winning 6 games in the NFL against any opponent isn't a fluke. They got off to a fluke start last year and this year they're 2-2. Over their last 14 regular season games, they're 4-10. Josh McDaniels is a moron who thinks getting rid of his best players makes a team better and will probably be fired at the end of this year or the end of next year.
Have fun with that Brandon Lloyd/Correll Buckhalter/Jabar Gaffney trio. Something tells me you won't be as in love with them by the end of the year.

The first thing I will say is that I don't think they are that good. There isn't a lot of competition int he AFC West this year with both the Broncos and Chargers being out shined by the Chiefs, but I feel that the division is up for grabs between those three teams this year. Whats amazing me is that Josh McDaniels gets rid of the offensive all-stars on his team, and finds either veterans who nobody has heard of, busts, or extremely underrated players and wins games with them.
Kyle Orton: Everybody doubted this guy even when he won 10 games as a rookie for the Bears. People were doubting him before the season started, and he is still leading the league in passing yards.
Brandon Lloyd: His career has been highlighted by being in and out of coaches doghouses and having mediocre seasons as a starting wideout. The past two games he has over 200 receivingyards.
Correll Buckhalter:His career has been highlighted by constant injuries. While he hasn't been putting up great numbers, he plays a key role for the Denver Offense, helping them win today against the Titans as well as contributing last year.
Jabar Gaffney: Like Brandon Lloyd, Gaffney ended up in the Texan's doghouse and ended up with the Patriots. He had only one impressive game for the Patriots (during the playoffs). Since the end of last season and the beginning of this season he has been a reliable playmaker.
Do you thinking that Josh McDaniels is doing a good job recruiting and motivating so called "busts" (as well as coaching them), or do you think this is the result of the Broncos having the worst rushing offense in the league?

Everyone remembers the Eagles said the same thing about them being better without T.O right? Dallas runs things like retards.
Superbowl. Steelers and Vikings.

The Eagles had no WR's other than T.O., didn't have a beast TE and didn't have a huge offensive line with 3 good RB's. Nice try tho.
Roy hasn't exactly proven himself yet, but I agree that Witten and the O-Line are good. Romo will find a way to choke in the playoffs though.
