You say they're bad after Generation 1 and 2 and yet say they should make one for a home console that will just use everything that is oh so "terrible" from more recent games?

Yes, because it is forbidden for them to use older Pokemon in newer Pokemon games along with brand new Pokemon.

B/W and B/W2 had really good stories, much better than a lot of other games.
