As an RPG fan, I was wondering if the original Divine Divinity is worth getting into (I don't mind dated graphics, but I do care about story and perhaps user interface/gameplay). If not, I was also looking at the more recently revamped version of Divinity 2 (Dragon Knight Saga). Thanks in advance, as I am fairly new in posting on these forums :)
Thanks for the replies so far. I'll give it a shot, but I may wait and see if it goes on sale somewhere first (i.e. Black Friday sale, etc.) before I dish out like $40.
As long as they don't superimpose the technology on the players for every single game, it's fine. As long as there's still a choice, I don't mind. But innovation doesn't hurt...
For me personally, it's the "convenience" factor. It's more convenient to have a list of digital games at the ready without the box, CD, etc. But I can also see where the retailers are coming from...
I also was contemplating a comeback... I quit a while ago (main character was an 80 mage - Mimba on Antonidas server - in case anyone from there comes across this).
Hi! I was wondering if Divinity 2: Dragon Knight Saga was worth playing? I have not played the original release of the game, but I heard this particular release of the game was decent. The RPG category is one of my active genres and I have enjoyed the likes of Dragon Age: Origins, The Witcher, Mass Effect series, Knights of the Old Republic, Baldur's Gate series, etc. Thanks in advance!
