I am a devoted fan of Dead Space and the sequel amazed me, but once again Dead Space 2 like it's predecessor, received mixed reviews. One critic said the campaign was crap, but the multiplayer rocked, another critic said the opposite. This website gave Dead Space 2 an inferior rating to the original game despite the fact that all critics unanimously agree Dead Space 2 was better than the first. So I guess what really matters is: what do the fans think?
Why wouldn't it be worth it, are you saying that when it comes out people will look at it and say, ''It should have came out three months ago, I dont want it now"".

You misunderstood me, I was only saying I'm glad Epic is taking great care in Gears of War 3's production. Now that they are taking their time, people can say waiting that long made the game that much better. If Gears 3 turns into the masterpiece I expect, the production will be time well spent. Epic has chosen quality over a speedy release.
question to the thread: I'm only familiar with my own opinions about gears of war and hadn't paid much attention to GoW2's reception. is 2 considered better or worse than 1?unca_laguna
It all depends on your preference, I prefer Gears 1 because the multiplayer maps are more memorable and I liked the campaign better as well. Gears 2 was great to me because of Horde mode.
Just when Gears of War 3 was showing great promise with it's new maps and modes, the game's release date was pushed back several months. This actually doesn't bother me because with that much extra time, the game will receive several months worth of polish. Epic really is focusing on the quality of Gears 3 and that encourages me to no end. Anyone have thoughts on this upcoming game?
If they made a remake, all the people peddling FF7 copies on ebay and amazon wouldn't make any money. I had to pay 40 damn dollars for a used copy and has anyone noticed FF8 and FF9 are still dirt cheap?
