Guns are part of the problem, they are not the problem. There are mental health and cultural aspects to this, also.

I do agree that more guns definitely won't solve the gun problem. I find it funny that some people believe the solution to the gun problem is more guns. It's like saying to solve the abortion problem we should have more abortions to prevent future abortions because the aborted fetuses can't have abortions.

I would be surprised to see anything actually come of this. Trump has sided initially with Democrats multiple times then changed his mind following talks with GOP members.

All that's going to happen is that gun manufacturers will make a ton of money off of AR-15 sales because of the scare. Republicans will push a bill that arms teachers and allows CCWs to cross state lines. Democrats won't go for it. And the Democrats will catch the blame for not protecting the kids.

@drrollinstein: If critics were afraid of being 'politically incorrect' by giving a movie a negative review, Tyler Perry movies would fare much better on Rotten Tomatoes.

@WhiteKnight77: The fact that it doesn't not support high capacity magazines is why it's less dangerous, in a mass shooting scenario. In a typical homicide, they're all just as dangerous unless the shooter has awful aim. I'd prefer that the person shooting at me has fewer chances before they reload.

This is the Left's unrealistic response to mass shootings/ terrorist attacks. Most gun violence doesn't come from rifles but since mass shootings are highly publicized, it garners more fear than typical homicide. It's a lot like the Right's idea of banning 7 countries where no prior terrorist attack on American soil has stemmed.

All in all you're more likely to die from falling furniture than a mass shooting or terrorist attack. No one is pushing for legislation on using wall anchors because IKEA doesn't provoke much fear. Fear drives unnecessary legislation since it's easy to sell.

I've done some work at a place here in Ohio called Paul's Gamerzone. The guy took over an old bar and did pretty much exactly this. He's been around for a couple years. He has a wall of 360s and PS3s, then behind the bar he has a wall of PS4s/ X1s, there's a large TV (55"+) for Retro/ Nintendo/ party games. In the center he has a LAN station set up for PCs and has a VR demo PC set up.

He also has big card game tournaments and board game nights. They have all nighters and tournaments a couple times a month for different games to help bring in addition revenue.

If I were you I would target either a college town or a part of town with a higher population of school aged kids. Most of the people that come in seem to be younger than 25 and a lot younger than 16. There are some pictures on that Facebook page I linked. You might want to reach out to him for more information.

@dakur: Hypocrisy is universal, it's not exclusive to the Democratic party. Had the roles been reversed and Trump had won the popular for but not the electoral college, Trump supporters wouldn't just accept the results and walk away. He had been pushing the idea that the system was rigged leading up to the election and was a sore loser about the election before votes were even cast. And yes, Clinton supporters would be telling Trump voters to suck it up and that the system works this way.

@Stesilaus:Didn't Trump's charity just admit to using funds illegally? It was already known that he used the charity's assets to buy a 6 foot painting of himself and to pay for lawsuits. I think ripping on Clinton's charity while Trump's Charity has violated several laws. Also, your comment is filled with bad information. The Clinton Foundation gets an A rating from CharityWatch.com and they only spend 12% on overhead, 88% goes to charitable programs (ie. $.88 on the dollar goes to charity, not $.15).

As for the lying, it's been proven that Trump lies every 3 minutes and 15 seconds on average. And war crimes, Trump - has - advocated - several.

Tim Ryan is actually from my district. I'm not a fan of Pelosi,so I would love to see him replace her.
