Best game of 2007? Opinions?

Okay, I know I'm steppin' on some really touchy ground here, but I'm going to tell the world my opinion for game of the year. First, I'll tell what I think the nominees should be (and there's going to be a lot of 'em). The list is: Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, Call of Duty 4, Super Mario Galaxy, The Orange Box, Halo 3, Rock Band, God of War 2 and World in Conflict. If there's any other great games that I didn't list its because I haven't played them yet. But, trust me,I'll getto it. Anyways,Out of all those,I would narrow it down to Bioshock, SMG, The Orange Box, Halo 3, and Rock Band. Of course, this is my personal opinion, and by no means means I'm crapping on the other games. Then, from those 5, I would choose a winner. I wouldn't pick SMG, because of the frustration I had with the Wii remote and the camera. I wouldn't choose Bioshock, simply because there was no replay value after I beat it twice. I wouldn't choose Rock Band, becuase not only is the guitar way too easy, but they didn't have online World Tour, which was disappointing. So it's down to The Orange Box and Halo 3. I don't know which to pick... but in the end I would have to pick Halo 3. Just because it's so fun to play and the multiplayer is just freakin' awesome. I will admit, they didn't really change the gameplay that much, but they didn't have to. It was perfect when they came out with Halo: Combat Evolved, and it's still perfect today. The story mode still isn't quite it is to it's first predecessor, but what they lack in story, they more then make up for in multiplayer. I've seen some websites say how Call of Duty's multiplayer or Gears of War's multiplayer (which are truly outstanding) are much better than Halo's, butI just can't agree. I love Halo's simplicity, where you can invite a friend with literally the click of two buttons. Then there's the forge, which is really fun to just screw around with. Then you could play you own racetrack, find new nooks and crannies to explore, or just hang around with your friends. The reason I didn't choose The Orange Box is because of the multiplayer. It just feels so limited. Each map has a set playtype. So, say your favorite gametype is Capture the Flag, but its on your least favorite map.Well, too bad. You have to play it on that map, or none at all. Of course, I make it sound worse than it is, but that's how I personally felt. Well, enough of my ranting. I make Halo 3 seem like a god compared to all other video games, but it's not. I've always loved Halo and have always been a little biased towards it (no matter how hard I try not to be biased), but I'm not so arrogant as to say it's flawless. Yes, it has some flaws. Story, annoying little kids online (which you can't really help, but still frustrating), and some gameplay issues when playing online, but those are fairly minor when you look at the big picture. So, that long series of words you just read (or may not have read, considering how lazy you may or may not be) are my reasons for my game of the year. What's yours? You don't have to rant on like I did, just simply say your opinion for game of the year, or maybe even criticize me for my choices. Maybe that'll get people to actually leave comments on my blogs...
