Top 10 NES Games #1: Super Mario Bros. (For real!)

Well, I hope you enjoyed. It's been really great doing this, but I might take a break from making videos for a while. This whole project looked pretty simple, but it actually took me hours and hours to do. First, I had to record my voice, which was a nightmare. I would mess up constantly, and getting it perfect isn't as easy for me as it is for most people. Then, I had to record gameplay footage, from all 11 games. In addition, I had to record extra footage of Super Mario Bros. for the music video portion, and recrod footage of the real Super Mario Bros. 2 for the Doki Doki Panic review. Then, I had to put it all together. This wasn't too hard, but it took me forever. But anyway, I hope you enjoyed, expect Top 10 Genesis and SNES some time in the future, but I can't ensure it will be any time soon.

What can I say. WHAT CAN I SAY. This game...This game...This game is just, oh my god, AMAZING. You do NOT know the term "Video Game" untill you've played this. The music, catchy as hell. Freaking brilliant. The graphics, nostalgic and awesome. While not technically the best graphics on the NES, I still think they are, because they look so awesome. But we've only TOUCHED this game, for we haven't talked about, the gameplay. Oh god, the gameplay. At the time, it was more than revolutionary. People had some great games, like Balloon Fight, Pitfall, Pac Man, and of course, Donkey Kong, but nothing ever like this. This game had SCROLLING SCREENS. Oh, well now every side scroller has this, but back then, whoa-hoh! It was big. Did I mention it has 36 levels? 36 scrolling levels? Wow. Amazing. But I still have hardly touched this game. OK, I'll start from the basics. You play as Mario, or previously known as Jumpman, and, of course, you can jump. High. Really high. Like the people that made this game, in fact. But anyway, so yeah, you get to soar feet into the air. You'll need this to stomp enemies, such as goombas and koopas. You get powerups, and these are awesome. You can get bigger, (huhuhuhuh) and of course, throw fire. This is where the game gets GOOD. Throwing fire is fun as hell! This is mainly due to the amazing sound effects, my favorites being Bloo-Blep! And Woo-He! Just awesome. The game can be easily replayed if you know all of the warp zones in it: Level 1-2 and Level 4-2, level 4-2 hasving two warp zones. If it weren't for this, it would be harder to come back to this game again, and again, and again. But you can. Many later games tried to copy this one completley, and still today. Games like "Crash Nebula," use all of the systems in this: Getting 1ups, jumping on enemies, and so on. But the Mario series is the only true one that will be great. And that wraps up the NES. Best system of all time.
