You should work on this as soon as possible if you claim to be a "hardcore" gamer. Unless you are under 18 and have to rely on parents for cash to buy the stuff, you should have an hdtv if you are male and living in the U.S. Get rid of your grandpa tv and step into the 21st century.
Here's my deal. I bought a 360 Pro about 6 monts ago. About a month ago I upgraded my hard drive to a 120 gig. Since then I have had mild problems with my system. It sometimes freezes and is noisier than the 60 gig that came with the system, not to mention the fans work hard at times where they were quiet before.
I know hard drives often make noise, but I am wondering if the 360 Elite ran a bit smoother since it is packaged with the hardware already?
What are you doing to make your xbox fail? I have bought 2 and both still work fine, and I play about 3-8 hrs a day.You just have to treat it good.
Scratched disks and rrod? Just guessing, sounds like you stand the console up on it's side. The console scratches games every now and then standing upright. It also tends to overheat when stood on it's side bc an air vent is being blocked. Are you installing games? That would help as well. My advice is to stop treating the console like an Snes and more like a computer. Btw, your topic will probably be closed or moved.
As the title says, I've never picked up a copy of the Shin Megami Tensei series. The morale of the story is though, if I were to grab a copy of the series, which would be the best one to grab?Decon5
Shin Megami Tensei is more of a gaming universe composed up of different series or sagas. Most people perfer the Persona series. Japanese high school kids, detective mysteries, and demons pretty much sums it up. I'd start with the first Persona, but Persona 3 is not a bad choice either if you wanna keep things more current.
