Wow, thanks for the input everyone.

Thomas- I probably will, but I hate talkin to em....

Jdog- I'm not too good at cussing people out, I'm too calm, I'd probably start laughing.

Ballasteve- I'm not sure I have the money for that...

The Rick- That's just what he said

CameosisJ- I could kiss you right now... no homo But that does sound like a good idea, probably will do. And yes! someone understands, why the f#@k would the receipt matter, I have a dam controller! what does it matter!?

Theibault- do it often? to sony? If so, then I definitely will.

mpahos- I could... but if it didn't work when the guy told me... I dunno :x

Whatever happened to when the customer was important?

The advice I gave was only from a legal point of view, they have no obligation. However, if you really really push it, you might get what your looking for. Sony can't afford to have unhappy customers right now.

is it possible that if I talked to a supervisor then i might have more luck?

OK, so I grab a ps3 after Xmas and then decide a month later to get another controller. Well, last week, said controller dies. I try everything to get it going again, even resetting the controller itself. Nothing, controller is pronounced dead at the scene. So I call sony support, the first guy finally tells me that I should try going back to circuit city where I bought it and see if they would help me, if not then I should call sony back and see if they'll work something out with me. Keep in mind, I have no receipt or packaging to this controller (after all, I never thought it would die). Circuit city wont take it back cause it's been more than 30 days since purchased. I then call sony back hopeful, but I get some butthole this time. We talk for awhile and during the conversation he mentions that the controller has a year warranty on it, but they cant do anything because I dont have a receipt. The first guy at least tried to wave the need for a receipt, but not this guy. So then he tells me his best advice is to: "go buy a new one." I ask if i can have it repaired, but he says they cant cause once again, no receipt. Anyway, I sum all this up in a letter to sony only to hear back from them telling me that the "best way for them to serve you is to call us back."

Wow that was alot of typing. My question is, should I call back again, or just buy a flippin new controller? Are there any tricks to dealing with support or what, cause all my experience with them before was a positive one. This is bogus.

It's expensive when I consider that my extra one died on me last week. I was just playing MGS when after a long dialogue, nothing happened when I tried to move. Tried to recharge and nothing... tried to reset and nothing... So now I have one of the most expensive paper weights. A guy at support told me to go buy a new one since I threw away the receipt. Come on!

lookin forward to it, but I dunno how this will work out in multiplayer... it seems like people who are playing mantel will just shoot any "dead" guy they see.

Red Dead Revolver 2 has my vote for sure. Just think about a sandbox western made by Rockstar! Oh man that would be awesome.

Did anyone else think the trailer had a weird frame rate thing goin on? Or could this be fixed before the final release? OR, was it just the camera effect being used, because it's kinda common for the MGS series. Don't get me wrong, I soiled myself watching the trailer, just wondering.
