First and foremost. I love my 360. I have loved it ever since the day I won it on my birthday back in 06 (thank you fred myers)

The Game Selection and mechanics behind the 360 are the best in the market IMHO.

Ok with that out of the way. So I bought A Ps3... I have been working like 20 hours of OT a week and had some extra money and I saw a game that looked really really cool. "Eye of judgment" As a long time former magic player and an X employee of Wizards of the coast the I had to get the game. So I ordered the game, before i got the ps3 and then went out the next day and got the ps3. I was only going to get the 40 gig one but after I made the purchase the person informed the the 40 gig was not fully backwards compatible. So I had to get the 80 gig one cus there are lots of cool ps2 games I want to play now thatI can. So I spent the 500 bucks. and 30 for an HDMI cable so I could have both the xbox and ps3 plugged in at the same time.

So I got it home and I soon realized that wow the 500 dollars was a steal. It has a built in wireless Ethernet. So thats a 99 dollar Xbox value. and the blue ray. a 179.00 value. so at todays xbox price thats like 627 dollars. Not to mention the 60 extra gigs of space. (even tho I am finding game updates and such take up about a gig each!) so the space is needed. and 727 dollars if you go with the elite.

The first thing I noticed was how light the controller was. I thought I for-sure got a defective controller. But no its just missing the rumble. and frankly I dont miss it. I like how it feels. I am also noticing that that the charge lasts a little longer on the controller.

The second thing I noticed was how much quieter it is then my xbox. Its like the Ps3 is the Mute brother of my Xbox. I only notice its on when the light is on.

Third thing I noticed was that IMHO the picture is much more clear. It might be because the HMDI but as I dont have the elite I may never know.

Misc things I like. the Internet browser. The shear number of settings and odds and ends of things you can add on or do with your ps3. the PSP stuff even tho I dont have one yet I am going to get one. I also like how each game skins the background whenever you have it selected.

Ok now for what I dont like. The Sony Store. It sucks. plain and simple. Compared to Xbox marketplace the sony store is a Flea Market on the wrong side of town that only sells half eaten sandwiches and Hallowed out bathtubs with the virgin Mary in it.

The Demo's: OMG!!! you have to download the demo, then install it? the PS3 is not my computer. This goes for all the downloadable content as well. I downloaded the ratchet and clank demo and that took some time. then after it was done it took another 5-10 min to "install" I was shocked and a little mad at this. It was odd for sure.

Last and not least. The game selection. There are a few good games. even fewer great games and a bunch of ports that are equal to are better on the 360. Also the games in the store like "Flow" and such should have trial versions.

So in closing The ps3 is great. It has the potential to be freakin fantastic! it just has a long way to go to get there!

Ps. I am looking forward to Home whenever that comes out.

So I got some itunes codes for heroes and I was shareing with everyone in the forumes. And to my surprise some jerk reported me saying it was illigal. The downloads where perfictly leagle and people thanked me for doing it.. Just goes to show No good deed goes unpunished.

I have to say that Window's Media Center is a damn good DVR. You can IN theory Record as many shows as you want at a single time. The more you record the more complicated it gets. But it is possible. SO dump those Tivo's and Comcast DVR and get one that doesn’t charge you a fee. *note* if you are not technologically adept stick with Tivo and Comcast. Anyways. really looking forward to Mondays this fall. Mondays have typically for me been a slow TV day. I really cant wait for the office to come back. Oh and one of my other blogs I said that if fox doesn’t bring back Firefly I would prank the cast of OC. well that wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. Any suggestions let me know.

A season of tears. A season of laughs. I season that is dead.

Lets see I still have a few episodes of lost on the DVR and i have been told its great.

I welled up on the last episode of charmed (way past its prime) and I cried on the last episode of will and grace. I was stunned at the last episode of "the office" Ross and Rachel got nothing on this Must see TV couple. PLEASE OH PLEASE Jim and Pam don't ruin it for me. 

So I mourn you TV Season of 05-06. You will be missed

NBC's Heroes I can't wait to meet you!

I really thought this season of TV would be BORING and lack of content. BOY was I wrong. I am really looking forward to seeing James Marsteres in smallville. As well as Amy Acker in Alias. I got really drunk the other day. That was kinda fun. Tommorow should be good going to see Sernity for the 3rd time! woot. and then some board gameing. Then sunday is D&D i am makeing a Changling Rouge thing. should be fun! anyways have fun.

So WHAT IS UP WITH THAT WIG! the show should be Axed for that wig alone! OK maybe not. I have an interview tomorrow So i am fairly happy. I gave myself a haircut and it turned out really well! so that's very cool. God i loved Boston Legal last night. Laughed VERY hard.

well lets see. The count. I have cried i think 2 or 3 times. The show is fantastic. no one reads this so I am not sure if spoilers would ruin anything. OH i just looked over and i noticed i was lvl 8! SUPER-FRIEND... (meanwhile under megs bra) you all will get that when the family guy dvd comes out. I went and saw Flight-plan today. it was good. Not great but good. Jodi was SUPERB! The saving grace of the movie. If it was any one else in that movie i think it would have sucked ass. Serenity is here in a few days. That will be a GOOD day! a very good day.

I spent the day with family. For the first time i think I enjoyed myself. I played Risk: god wars with my 14 and 12 year old cousins. I meet my Twin Nieces and my 1 year old Nephew. And my uncle and my aunt. had a nice dinner played games. all in all good day. I also borrowed Lost DVDs and I am on episode 3 or 4. I have lost track of where I am. But i love it. Its pretty damn intense. Tho the blond whinny sister needs to go. or stop whining.

I was laid off about 3 weeks ago. Job hunting has not gone so well. I really am frustrated. Poor and Hungry. I apply for about 10 things a day. And Notta. WHY WONT YOU PEOPLE GIVE ME A JOB! my boyfriend broke up with me. I miss him more then i have ever missed anyone. It was completely my fault. Tho I think we could have worked on it. Such is life. TV is all i have now. *hugs his TV* and i might lose that if i don't get a job and pay my cable bill!
